Buddhism is the only scientific religion of the world which neither believes on supernatural / divine power , creator , god nor on hell and heaven rather he focused on improvement of peoples behaviour and teaches non violence, peace humanity and satisfaction. He said , all sentinent being are not free from suffering and all sentinent being have a right to be free from suffering.

It was a god manjushree who cut the lake & started civilisation in Kathmandu valley. In Kathmandu nowadays in Nepal Hinduism & Buddhism don't matter. Both religions are intertwined with each other. Except Tibetan Buddhism. To simply understand visit the living goddess Kumari. She comes from Buddhist religion but worshipped by Hindu & Buddhist both mostly hindu coz she is the incantation of goddess Durga. Those 13 rings are 13 chakras. Everyone knows 7 chakras right. Even science tells us these glands exist in our bodies but the remaining 6 chakras are beyond our understanding. Anyone who understands them gets enlightenment.

Now let's come to the topic Do you know how they came to Nepal? You know the same religion can be observed & followed differently in every countries. Let's look at Hinduism in India & Nepal it's completely different in many ways. Do you understand that?
Now Tibetan Buddhism's main difference is the Dalai lama. In Nepali Buddhism they do not worship or follow Dalai lama. I am not going into detail for your own R&D.

@@sonurajbhandari3347 There is nothing called Tibetan Buddhism and Nepalese Buddhism.. There is three sectors of Buddhism which are Theravada( the way of elders), Mahayana( The big vehicle) and the Vajrayana also known as Tantrayana. These are the only Buddhist sectors mostly known in the world. Newari tradition Buddha dharma and Tibetan tradition Buddha dharma falls in the same category which is Vajrayana or Tantrayana. There is also big Newari community who follows Theravada.
I don't know which community you are from but Newars and Tibetans have long relationship from early common era. There are many Newari and Tibetan mixed family in Kathmandu and Patan. I know many of them and their Children and Grandchildren are natives of Kathmandu. They are raised in both Tibetan and Newari cultures.
There is not such thing called Nepali Buddhism. Yes there is Himali Buddhism which is also Vajrayana Buddhism. Nepali people mostly Hindus talk about Buddha dharma randomly without containing the knowledge or without studying. They say stuffs what has been told by their Pundits, pujari, parents and friends about Buddha dharma. When I was growing up , they used to say Buddha dharma is nothing but Bhote and Newar dharma. There are still Nepali people out there who has same mentality. They like to collect revenue in the name of Shakyamuni Gautama Buddha's birthplace and the Buddhists holy sites in Nepal but at the same time they show prejudice, bigotry and oppression on Buddha dharma in Nepal.

Dalai Lama is Tibetan leader of Tibet, He is known as their king who ruled Tibet for many years and that's why Tibetan see him as a Bodhisatava just like Nepali people used to think Nepali king as a Hindu god " Narayan" so there is no difference on that. Kathmandu valley, previously known as Nepal was a lake, after cutting southern hill it became able to reside as valley. But the swoyambhu, where you are going to, is the land already existed on the hill, before valley. Monkeys were resid!nts of the hill and are up to now

Nah monkey were probably brought there like many other places in Kathmandu valley and those monkeys just breeded like crazy. Monkeys weren't residents of the hills.

Brahmins - Ones who followed vedic philosophy and performed rituals
Sharmins - Ones who followed tyagg marga in order to seek the truth of existence
Shakyamuni Gautama Buddha was one of those Shramana who followed tyaag marga. Gautama Buddha as an avatar of Hindu god Vishnu is fabricated story by the clever Brahmins. There is no evidence no back that claim up. The matter of fact , Brahmins and rishis were against the Shakyamuni Gautama Buddha and they have written many scriptures against Shakyamuni Gautama Budhha such as in Hindu scared book of " Ramayana" written by the Hindu rishi Balmiki because Shakyamuni Gautama Buddha rejected many thing in Vedas from the get go such as caste discrimination (Verna) , gender discrimination, animal sacrifice (Bali pratha) and Brahminism.
Hinduism was not a religion back then . It was Brhamanism and Buddha was not a Brahman. Dont spread false information neo sanatani . We just coexist and coexistence is a beautiful thing despite of differences.
Buddhism is older than Hinduism and it is proved by historical as well as archeological sources. There was only brahminism or vedas follower during Buddha's period and indra and Brahman used to be supreme god as per. Vedas nor Vishnu , Shiva ,Krishna , rama . Get your fact checked. Purans established new god as supreme which was written very late.

But in a promised miraculous book which no human could have written, which has scientific proofs and prophecies, Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) wouldn't have known all those things. What hindu believes is not what we believe. We are very sure that buddha is not the avatar of vishnu. Its exactly the same as hindu explaining the elements of allah. We dont authorise hindu to explain about buddhism.

Temple in high ground. If you visit any old temple like very old for it be zhorastrian temple in iran or nepal. There is one common factor. Both of these culture are seen as fire worshiper. You know abarham father figure to islam was born in urk iraq (sumerian) urk king built Babylon next to kish. What we know of babel as hebrew. Call is that they build towers. They recall the flood (noah and the ark in bible). In nepal or atleast in vishnu puran for hindu the belief is that lord vishnu machya avatar took human to mountain of nepal ( highest elevated land of earth). And as water level dried people moved from the region. Most abarahmic religion say it as Turkey but none of their mountain is as tall as mountains in nepal or in pakistan.evrn pakistan has k2. Like if world was under water there has to be logic that people will be on elevated land. This is one component of anciejt world that remember the flood the kashite or sumerian or khas of nepal also known as pahdee people. Another elemenet for temple and civilisation being in top of mountain was due to protection from enemy or even wild animal (able to see potential attack high ground is always the best imagine enemy climbing a mountain to attack your abode, their energy will be gone when they face against you), being able to absorb sun ray especially during winter.
