(I have nothing against the korean artists though, they do deserve the awards they get, it’s just mama seems to have bias) For example: NiziU are a japanese group, yet i had no idea they were even at the Mama awards until i scrolled for a long time through videos. They weren’t as hyped even though they are popular.
I guess it's because XG (despite being a highly capable and almost perfect group) has not reached the average sales numbers of Korean groups. There are very few of us ALPHAZ who really provide all the support.
What makes this performance so powerful is the message behind the blindfolding and removing it. Personally, I see it as a depiction of their trust and equality being in a pack. The movement of one is movement of all, and there's no other way around that move but forwards! I definitely see you XG! And I admire your hardwork and artistry! 👏🏻
I think it comes from they trained the fuck out together every single day for 5 years+ straight. It's like coming out of the same school. Even technic/movement they have is the same and as you said, their sync is unreal.
