To the ones who say he's getting slower, this isn't training, he's not looking for full speed or power, its just about going over game plan and going over the keys to the fight. Little things that you as a fighter may forget.

i think hes having the same problem a lot of people have in those gloves. your hands go numb when you break them in esp your thumb. i heard everlast gave them to him that week so thats probably why he keeps stopping and looking at the gloves. i think he didnt like them so much they gave him those powerlock gloves in all green that look like the mx training model. they are just everlast powerlock training gloves 12 oz. you can get em at everlast .com. obviously not with the filipino style colors and emblem but still

The MX sparring gloves are too loose . Way too much room for THICK hand wraps . I had a pair and sold it right away.
you mean the everlast mx training glove? what pounce did you have. it makes a big difference in size. i had the 12 ounce for bag work and i hated them. now i have the 18 ounce and i love them. i like lots of room in my glove cause i have very thick hands. most people have more of a problem with gloves being too tight or small. as for thr mx fight glove i think its the most comfortable fight glove i have ever tried on. it is def short on padding though. a real punchers glove

The Reyes has just good enough for a good wrap. I don't like the grip on the MX gloves either. It's way too forward .

Have to say this is a 50/50 fight only because we don't know how Manny's body will respond to any punishment. Manny is fast but he will be hit in this fight that's a for sure, and when he does get hit.... will it conclude the final chapter of Manny's career? or make for another exiting back in forth battle.

you are wrong that last fight manny's had means nothing just because he is winning that fight,, your question is how he's body will response to any punishment? come on men,, if pacquiao get badly beaten every round and then knocking him out cold,, that is the right question for him,, but the thing is he is winning that fight marquez is bloody and he's almost done,, try to watch the lennox lewis vs rockman,, lewis is winning that fight and caught by lucky punch and knocking him cold,, but lewis rise again,,,just because he is winning that fight and not beaten every round.
I'm just touching on the fact that there is an unknown factor here that changes the scope of the fight. If this was Manny's second fight after being brutally knocked out I would have an idea of how he would perform and would heavily favor him to win. That being said, considerations have to be made for the unknown. Not counting Manny out,here. I'm just pointing out why this fight is a 50/50 fight.
