~Windmill AirBNB in Lynden WA~
For my [30th] birthday this year, Ang surprised me with a trip across the border that included a scenic alpine hike and cool little AirBNB! We stayed in this old windmill in Lynden, Washington State, a small town about 45 minutes from the Canadian border. We enjoyed the small town and all it had to offer, the lovely restaurant below and of course the windmill itself! One day we were there we made our way towards Granite Falls, WA where we hiked up to Heather Lake, a gorgeous alpine lake that we LUCKILY had picture perfect weather for. On our final day of the weekend we of course had to make a some shopping stops at Target (because we're Canadian) and then headed back up to BC.
