- This is an interview with late Padmini. This was filmed in her house in New jersey in 2004.
We just went to visit her not for an interview but she was talking about her old memories so we decided to film it.

In Panam is the first movie Shivaji and Padmini joined. In a recent interview Kutti Padmini interview to UA-cam said that Shivaji married first and on the same day Shivaji married Kamala at swamimalai. In cinema Shivaji married Padmini and according to her Padmini wears that Shivaji kariya thirumangalyam has removed Padmini for nearly six month

I understand no words of this language. I think it is Tamil. My mother tongue is hindi, but it is not so well. I have always been a big fan of Padmini since I watched Jisdesh mein ganga behti hai. That is why I have watched both interviews. And I like them. I like the language. And I love Padmini. Great conversation.

Such a great interview! The comments below just show how low mankind can be. This interviewer has done a great job, being very respectful to Ms.Padmini! Everyone wants to know the 'kisu-kisu' between Sivaji and Padmini, but the interviewer isn't being cheap but being very respectful to their privacy giving space to the actress to convey whatever she feels comfortable to speak about. Plus i'm sure Padmini ma'am is older than him, so imagine a younger person questioning you if you had feelings for someone other than your life partner? I would want to slap them. Both Padmini and Sivaji are married with families- just imagine Sivaji's children watching this interview, how they would feel if the interviewer asked personal questions linking their father? You can tell the interviewer is an educated man with moral ethics and not trying to be too smart- i wish more indian interviewers would follow him, and give celebrities the respect for their privacy.

Forget the comments of fellow people here, they look the servant rather than the delicious food he served. We personally had the opportunity of traveling with her in 1994, in Air India flight from New York to Mumbai-imagine she was in economy class ! Very simple and humble despite of her being such great personality. thanks for the interview.

I consider that Padmini was.seen in the cinema world as a Dancing DOLL , This betifull DOLL. was used for puppet show by various producers and directors , Sivaji kept this Doll in his show case for sixty EPISODES(films),Mgr for twenty EPISODES,Gemini for fifteen ,so on,After this , the dancing Doll was away by Raj kaboor to the North to display beautiful Episodes. He took this Doll to Russia to show the world that has Charming beautiful Doll in possession , Russian admired the Puppet show and presented immensely, Having taken back to north Rajkaboor thought to. modernise this Doll with a little bodily exposure and attractions to spectators , This.change.was not appreciated by the south, Then the Doll was transferred.to south, Finally this was . handed over by force to Dr.Ramachandran to keep this Doll in show case permanently , will follow,

It is unfortunate that She was not conferred Padma Award. No Vest actresz award at National level. At least TN Govt conferred KalaiMamaNi award on her. Really painful to realize that our Central govt, whoever rules, did not recognize her talents.
