this was jaemin's comeback after his one year and a half hiatus so GO was the first time we were seeing 7dream after a really long time so it was monumental.

The fact that this was Jaemin's comeback song. After Chewing Gum he stopped promoting with dream bc of an injury. We actually didn't hear from him at all in that hiatus. Imagine it. From Chewing Gum Jaemin to Go Jaemin. Absolute insanity.

This is one of my favourite Haechan's eras, he really shines, not only because of his vocals but his stage presence and the way he executes the dance moves 💗💗 This was the era I fall in love with him and made him one of my ultimate biases ✨

GO was actually Jaemin's first comeback with NCT Dream!!
After Chewing Gum promotions, Jaemin went on hiatus for a little because of a herniated disk, but this was his first comeback!!
It's funny for me because Jaemin went directly from Chewing Gum to GO, which clearly is a big difference lmao

Well, personally I don't like that song, but every nctzen have to acknowledge the IMPACT Go caused when released. I mean, that was jaemin's comeback (and the start of his reign as a center), chenle's huge glow up, renjun's vocals started to get recognized and all the visuals were like TOO DAMN MUCH KWSOQKSOQ I'm nctzen since 2015, but Go still my favorite nct comeback

6:44 It's intended!! U can see that the red car is a key object in NCT Dream's MV. They have a song [Dunk shot] in their first album, which has a lyric '예쁜 여자친구와 빨간 차도 갖고 싶었지만(I wanted a pretty girlfriend and a red car😂)'. The car symbolizes their ego in the transition of adolescents. The very person sitting in the driver's seat means 'the most leading' role(and u know it's usually Mark for NCT Dream)
5:59 Renjun in that tree story: Well they were filming in Los Angeles One of the members just thought it would be cool to shoot Renjun in that tree…. So they just recorded it and the clip was used
i don't know much about cars but that car is giving Honda 💀 also, this song and mv is the visual representation of puberty hormones (for male teens) I feel like. With all the night hanging out, jumping the subway checks, the biking, the playfulness but not in a childish way... It is like a reflection of them growing up and leaving chewing gum/my first and last days behind for good 😭❤

Hands down my favourite NCT Dream song
Go has got to be one of my fav nct dream songs aNd mv’s. The stylinggg, vocals, rap parts - all so iconic. Plus all the random scenes of members are so cute and the way it’s filmed just fits so welll. Go is one of those songs that I don’t listen to that often, but when I do it’s always an experience, truly an era to be missed~
I think the reason why dream is just super special it's because of how when they started they had a concept that fit their age which chewing gum for me, I sometimes catch myself humming the song and singing the.lyrics but as they grew, each song brought something different and as re goes, it's no telling what else they will do, just in genera I am just happy to have joined getting deeper into them back before 127 sticker release and am here for NCT and their journey because they are a gem
This song is one of the first times I really started to notice Haechan. He is now my bias.

Another thing nct dream's choreos are really difficult for their age like....they were about 16 17 only when they danced to mfal amd that choreo was insane and energy consuming but their voices were quite stable

I LOVED GO and everything about it. The song, the way the MV was filmed, it was like Dreamies rebellious teen era lmao. I’m super surprised so many ppl didn’t like it!
Finally someone with the same opinion. This is mine favorite song of Dream. Love the sound, love the rap of all of them and my most favorite singing of Haechan, he sounds so good to my ears (could hear the deeper voice of him) plus it looked like they had fun filming it.

idk about others but GO is truly a masterpiece that everyone always forgets that it exists. It is an under-looked song and I don't get it,, it is literally the BEST era. Don't come at me, talk to the wall.
GO era truly was their best…the song, the mv, the concept. I have an entire folder of low quality grunge/vintage photos from and inspired by that era. It’s my fav dream song and mv of all time😩😩😩
This is actually the song that made me stan them! I loved the vibes on the music video and the choreography is amazing! NCT itself is very known for their choreo but something about NCT Dream's songs have the best choreo imo.
GO mv is like a mix of rebellious & cute NCT Dream, while the lyrics hits so hard (especially chenle's line🙌)

omg this is definitely one of my top fav dream songs. I still remember the day it dropped I literally went crazy listening to it especially the bridge and marks rap. Haechan’s voice in the bridge is insane I still get goosebumps when I hear that. And the choreo, styling, the mv direction everything is amazing. Thank you for reacting to this 💕🤧
GO will forever be the superior looks for Dreamies. Props to their stylist and make up artists. Like they literally killed this era with their looks and charisma. It was a 180 degrees turn from their usual style

Thanks for recognising performer Jaemin and his natural stage presence aura. I think sometimes people forget that he's more than just a visual and a center and that he worked his butt off especially because he had 18 months less in the industry because of his injury hiatus. Anyway, your nct reactions are addictive I swear! Your ones for the dreamies always make me smile so hard because this is how *I* feel about them too. 😊💞

Go portrays a rebellious teenage concept, the lollipops are like cigarettes and the neon drink is like alcohol. And the whole mv you can see them doing rebellious things like dodging paying for subway and hanging out with friends at night, in very questionable settings like abandoned buildings
And like you said, they are serious one minute and cute the next- this kinda shows that although they want to act all serious and assertive, there’s still a childlike aspect to them
Sm was smart to give them a concept like this because it coincides with Dreams concept of ‘growing up’ and showing us the different phases of it

I just noticed the intro was a foreshadowing of the concept in both NCT 2020 and 2021. The elevetor opening and the white silhouette of the escalator. Wow SM POWER!

I honestly totally get you. Go was actually my first NCT song, I first heard it in early 2019 and I absolutely loved it. So in a way Go is a meaningful song to me since it was my introduction to NCT. Right now, it's my second favorite NCT Dream title track (Ridin' is first) but I'm glad this was my first NCT song. The whole song was a masterpiece, the concept was incredible, and the MV was so creative. I love it so much.

this is one of favorite dream sings too!! the instrumentals are CRAZY and they sound amazing, everything is so futuristic + the MV was able to capture the entire vibe of the concept so well, one of my favorite MV's too ;-;

"Go" to this day is my favorite Dream title track. Like there's so many elements I love! The subject of the song, Jaemin coming back from song long, and coming back with the bars! Their "teenage rebellion" vibe, the MV, the choreo, and just everything!
Lol, I didn't even think about how that car was just a regular ass car, until you said it! But it goes with the teenage rebellion theme, they took their mom car and are acting like "bad-asses." Also this was before NCT was selling a million records (and still weren't satisfied) lol!

you should check out 'without you' - nct u mv and maybe a live perf sometime as well! it's one of the songs (the rock song w band one) u didn't know in the nct 2020 beyond live reaction and doyoung, jaehyun and taeil sings the korean ver while kun is added on the chinese ver.
Ahhhhh, Go, it was such a moment for them. Not only did we get Jaemin back with all that emotion, they also grabbed the opportunity to show another side with both hands and all their hearts. And the director/editor didn't have to throw in all those little moments of their cute personalities and interactions. But they did so it makes it soooo true to who Dream is, even with a new concept for them, while also being like a gift to fans who love them.
I am so glad you checked out the dance practice too. It's such an amazing choreo and that is something that Dream does like nobody else. They have something unique and the only reason they can pull off these choreos (incredibly athletic and more floor work than any other unit for example) is because they are ALL such strong dancers.
for a second i was a little sad you forgot how go went cause it was the first nct dream comeback i actually liked. but than your reaction to the first couple seconds of the mv made up for it. 😂

Go was definitely one of my favorite title track of all time. The bridge was everything (well actually all NCT’s bridges are GOD tier), Mark going off with his rap then Hyuck’s high note.

I remember people saying that nct dream and nct 127 switched concepts during this era. This was whiplash for me since dream's previous songs were cute. But it's one of my fav Nct songs as a casual listener.
