God's covenant with Abraham will never change. God is not a covenant breaker. He will not break his covenant with his children. Yes, they disobeyed and was dispersed from the land and taken to captivity to Babylon and later when muslims came to sack the place, jews were scattered all over the world.
But God said he will gather them back, and He had.
Ezekiel 34:13"I will bring them out from the peoples and gather them from the countries and bring them to their own land; and I will feed them on the mountains of Israel, by the streams, and in all the inhabited places of the land.
This is the endtime and the ingathering of his people back to their land that God had promised.
God's "land promise" surely applied to those two million people. But what happened? Almost all of them died in the wilderness because of their sins. Paul later wrote, "they could not enter in because of unbelief" (Hebrews 3:19). This proves that even though God promised the land, faith was required to receive the promise. Faith = land. No faith = no right to the land, even though God had promised it to them. Because Israel sinned, God said, "you shall know my breach of promise"

Here God said that even though He made promises to Israel, if Israel did evil and refused to obey His voice, He said, "I will repent of the good wherewith I said I would benefit them." This evidence that God's promises to Israel were conditional. This also applied to the land.
The Lord is "the same yesterday, today, and forever." Hebrews 13:8.
How does this apply to the Israeli nation today? Does the modern Jewish nation now have an unconditional right to that land because God originally gave
promise [the original promise to Abraham], look for a new heavens and a new earth [The Primary Land] where righteousness dwells." 2 Peter 3:10,13.
The only ones - whether Jews, Palestinians, Russians, Europeans, Chinese or Americans - who have any hope of living forever on The Primary Land are those who repent of their sins, believe in Jesus Christ, and follow the truth of the Bible.
"And if you belong to Christ, then are you Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise." Galatians 3:29

1. The modern state of Israel is NOT God's people. Only those who accept Jesus Christ belong to God's People, the Church. The Church is today's Israel.
2. We are NOT living in the "last days." The Lord Jesus promised to "come" during the lifetime of His apostles (Matt 16:27-28). The main purpose of His coming was to execute punishment on unbelieving Jewish nation and on their Temple (Malachi 3:1-2). That is why Jesus' teachings about His coming are connected with the destruction of the Second Temple (Matthew 24, Mark 13, Luke 21). Jesus said that ALL those events would take place during THAT GENERATION (Matt 24:34). Yes, it was fulfilled in AD 70 when Jesus came in His glory to execute judgment on the unbelieving Jewish nation. The "last days" mentioned in the Bible are the last days of that Second Temple Judaism.
3. After Jesus predicted the downfall of Jerusalem and the Second Temple, God NEVER spoke about rebuilding Jerusalem. Stop supporting unbelieving Jews in the name of "second coming." Nobody can rebuild a Temple that Jesus destroyed using the Romans.

John 3 :16 says
For God loved the world
so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him

Yes Peter, the disciple of Jesus also thought that God is only for Israel like you , but God made him understand that God is for all of us.
You should read Act 10, there God shows Peter in his dream that he is not only the God of Israel, but to all.

34 Peter began to speak: “I now realize that it is true that God treats everyone on the same basis. 35 Those who fear him and do what is right are acceptable to him, no matter what race they belong to.
You should know that God loved us first, its not based on our deeds that we are made perfect, because we cant be perfect, we all are sinners. Its the love of God that we are saved from our sins through Jesus Christ.
