I had the feeling that was the meaning of the song without knowing the lyrics just through their emotion in their live performance. Knowing the lyrics now, it makes me feel sad.

I do miss him but I know he probably feels at peace or at least like he doesn't have to struggle anymore or battle his demons ( I understand the feeling , I have been suicidal and self harmed but I've been clean for at least 4 years) I know how difficult is it I have bad depression and anxiety do I can imagine how tough it was , but being famous I could never know how that feels He was loved by many and will always be remembered even if it's by music or how he healed so many of us
