Pierre helping us all look better and feel better one video at a time. Thanks brother!
Mr. BDC is right that creasing your jeans down the center is a Texas tradition. Back in 2004 I was visiting some older friends and the wife grew up in East Texas in the 1950s. She decided to do my laundry and ironed a crease down the legs of my 501s! I blew my stack. I have been wearing 501s since the late 1960s and we never did that, so it looks foolish to us Northerners. I was able to eventually wash out the creases so that the lines didn't show, so the jeans were not destroyed. I never knew why Texans would crease their jeans until this video, so I now appreciate that it was a Texas way of showing off cleanliness.
It’s a tradition down here in Louisiana but I’m originally from Houston
Texas got all of its culture from mexico
@@Nowayhome2302jeans are from the USA not Mexico
I recently been ironing my clothes and looked all over yt but your videos were the most informative and subscribed w notifications
JUST BOUGHT MY FIRST BOOTS AND HAT.....THANKS FOR ALL THE HELPFUL INFO.....TOMORROW BUYING SHIRT...AND TO GRUPO FRIME CONCERT I GO
Thanks to you man I’ve finally gotten into my western side. I got my first pair of boots and a nice round of button ups going 🙏🏾
Long time denim wearer, first time starcher, thanks for your tips you booted beauty 😂, hard to find sta-flo in Canada so I’m super happy you told us how to make it as well, I’m doing that right now, cheers brotha!
I did this again for the second time yesterday, I put on Strait, and drank a couple beers while doing. Relaxing
I used to wear starched clothes daily. My jeans would be super stiff and literally could stand up on their own like you mentioned. Had to use a baseball bat to open up the legs so I could get them on. Wish that dry cleaners was closer. I’ve been saying that I was going to start wearing starched jeans more regularly again. We’ll see😂 This Texas gulf coast heat is what made me stop wearing them in the first place. Love the look man. Brings back memories of the good ol days.
Love the content bub, I agree with your comment on getting the perment creased line. I learned the best and easiest method I found years ago if you don’t mind me passing it along to you and your followers…
Years ago,Neal McCoy told me when I buy my wranglers or what ever jeans you prefer, before you ever wash them iron them pretty much exactly how you showed then wash them. Bam Neal McCoy white line panty dropping creases!
So wash after you starch em first time, don't bother wearing em first? Buy, starch, wash?
@@trentoncrow2059 yes sir,I know it sounds pointless but you’ll have that white cut crease that is permeant
Get it done in an hour!!!! 😮 never have starched my jeans but this sounds and looks like quite the process. That’s dedication …. Damn
thank you for your interest and contribution sir
I appreciate your content sir but I prefer my jeans and shirts not starched I think it's more comfortable with the "well worn" especially with shirts I got like 4 new Carhartt shirts that I'll have to wear and wash like 10 times before they feel comfy haha
I definitely do that with t shirts
@@BestDressedCowboy jeans aren't that bad with starch but shirts kinda get me especially in summer when it's really hot
😂😂😂😂 ima starch every thing now 🫡🧺🤣
Who asked
@@americanfirst4378 who gave you permission?
Just starched my pants for the first time and it made me appreciate my abuelita who use to iron all day lol😂 thanks for the video bro. Feeling accomplished 🤠
Thank You Pierre for all the tips and tricks to starching and ironing Jeans. Do you ever ware a Bolo tie with your western shirts? Why do you tuck in the tail of your belt into the inside of your belt instead of just leaving it on the outside? I love all the western shirts you ware man. You look awesome in them. You have inspired me with some of my western outfits.
I think the belt is the kind that doesn't buckle on the outside.
Speaking for most guys that dress like he does, most guys in Texas don’t wear Bolos. Only the yay who’s do that are here. Might be ok with a suit….mayyyybe. Tucking the end of the belt just cleans up the look. Loose belt end looks unkept enough that it defeats the purpose of going thru all the trouble of starching up the duds. The whole point is to look sharp. Always good to hear a lady tell you that “you clean up nice”
I have 2 pair to starch for a couple of groomsmen...🙄 neither where able to take to cleaners. Your video is incredibly informative! Wish me luck! 😂
Hi Pierre, you think you can do a video on belt buckles and different hat types? I noticed some are a little more round some smaller.
Top Quality Content 🔥💯.
P.S you really inspire me!
Love your videos, and thanks for all the positivity. The world is really lacking in that these days. What is your favorite cut of Wrangler jeans? And can I get a list of going out cologne's? Recently separated and trying to get myself back out there. Thanks again👊
When I starch my jeans I watch a podcast [Joe Rogan] but you actually taught me sir thank you a lot now I look crisp!
Great stuff, I bet Lane Frost himself would approve of your starch technique.
Wish I could have met him man
I just learned something new. Thanks for the tutorial and history lesson. Keep Cowboying on!
I ain't no cowboy, but I really like your style.
Please make a video about cool cowboy buckles and belt,
Once I went with my dad to pick up his wranglers from the cleaner mannnnnnm when he seen they didn't have the crease right oh my gooodness lol he was mad. 😂. I seen how important that crease is hahaha
Excellent Video Jeans.😍🥰🤠
Thanks a lot 🙏
Can you wash your starched clothes in your washing machine or do you take them to dry cleaners?
They look great will try this! Keep up the good work/ cowboy from sweden
I think a new group of welders moved here cause man I can’t find any staflo starch lmao anyway keep up the great work man love the videos
It’s gotten propular
Got mine on Amazon 😅
Great tips. Thank you for that. Worked perfect.
I love that shirt. Where could I find one or something similar?
Love your content man 🤠
I like your content I’ll continue to watch thank you
Where can I find those jeans in that exact color? Can you tell me the color name or perhaps a link to them?
nobody does it like the best dressed cowboy
To speed up waiting for them to dry, put a rag between the jeans and then iron it
¿Are those slim flim, straight fit, or relaxed fit?
ima welder and i had no idea starchin your jeans kept em from gettin burnt, i gotta try this
Great style man. Not my look of choice, but you always pull it off.
Thanks sir for helping me be more confident in my style
Thanks for the pro tips bro you're the best!
tyty
thank you man for this video 🫡🦾
Back in the day in the army we would iron fishing line in our BDU's to keep the lines. I wonder if that works on jeans?
Bro what was the name of the website to order big belt buckles that you can customize?
Now that staflo starch is being discontinued, what can I use that’s comparable?? Plz advise.
Took my like 3 hours and still made mistakes. Lol nice though and I'll have to practice some more on work jeans.
When buying a belt and buckle, where do I start? Brand, quality & look? Love ur style
Get a BB Simon belt
@@jackyyvincent I don't like that style

Where do you get your shirts man those are sick!
Quick question ⁉️ do you like rock revival jeans I see them a lot but anyway god bless you 🙏🙏🙏
No sir
@@BestDressedCowboy I have another question ❓ does sta flo go bad
I just got a pair of horsepower patchwork square toe boots what you think will help keep them clean and comfortable also looking good it’s a light brown with a dark brown patch with white stitching at bottom of boot thks
Love it man!
Bought some wrangler 13 Mz just to starch.😀
My method is the same with two exceptions. I dry my jeans in the dryer on low heat until they are almost dry then hang them on a double clip hanger, the type that you would use for shorts. I hang them on the shower curtain rod and spray each side of each leg thoroughly with Stay Flow. At this point they are basically wet so I let them hang until I'm ready to iron even if it's overnight and they are dry and already wanting to stand up on there own. i have a fairly expensive CHI iron that puts out an incredible amount of steam. I do use the steam to get them started as at this point they are hard. Finish off with some extra starch along the crease with dry iron. I might try your method with no steam.
What kind of jeans are those? I can’t find jeans that don’t flare out at the bottom and ones that don’t show my boot print.
Be you big man!!!!
Is it bad to just lay the jean flat then spray starch then iron it instead of lining up and folding it?
Do you dilute the starch
Thank you! 🫡🤠
Thank you brother 👍
From the cowboy tradition to the Chicano culture even tejano
How do you starch jeans that are 10% spandex? Tips please.
Hey man where did you get that Aztec print shirt ?
Does this increase the strength of fibre? Do you know any way to strengthen especially area between legs from tearing?
Is it normal to have creases that are horizontal on the jeans?
Good timing going to a wedding tomorrow and was gonna starch my cowboy cuts. God bless
So do you dilute the starch or full strength?
Thanks
I’m like 5’8, 5’9 ish, I’m guessing your about that should I be wearing longer length then 31x30’s in my wrangler 936’s, thank you for the good information by the way
I wear 30x30 normally and 30x32 with boots.
how do you tuck you shirts in where they have the cool fluff to them.
When I would Starch my jeans, I would turn them inside out then spray them with the starch then turn them right side out... no burt hazy starch streaks
In your opinion would lose fit jeans look good starch?
Not only does it look good. It keeps work clothes better longer
Love wearing jeans but “I” don’t starch and I don’t wear wrangler!
Well he’s not just a pretty fly cowboy, he’s informative!! 🤠

man i take my sweet ass time making sure my crease is perfectly even on both legs and i starch my baggy jeans bc i like how they stack with the starch!
How do you crease them with out starch
I bet you also did it a lot in the military with your dress pants. I remember my dad always starching slacks and jeans
Yes sir !
nice
Other then being a “cowboy” from what’s in your closet. What actually makes you a “cowboy”
Well…apparently you can’t do that with the slim boot cut 😅
Oh yea
Startching also makes your jeans fit nicely may not be comfortable tho
Very sad, Sta Flo has been discontinued. Was the best way to starch your jeans.
Bro just spray the shit outta the jeans with starch and throw it in the drier for 10 min. Bam done.
To easy to over dry them like that
I have been wearing Levi's 501 jeans since the late 1960s. Before 20 years ago Levi's used soft high quality medium weight denim that could be used for working. That type of denim doesn't wrinkle so it never needs to be ironed. But modern Levi's 501s use poor quality lightweight rough denim that can't be used for working. Those type of jeans come out of the dryer as a wrinkled mess. My solution is to just wear vintage US made Levi's 501s made before 2000 because I am not going to start ironing jeans after five decades of not needing to.
I quit wearing anything Levi since they went woke and ESPECIALLY since they are anti second amendment-commuxist baxtards!
I starch my jeans everyday
Imagine caring whether someone else has a line on their pants or not. holy shit people, priorities...
This cowboy doesn't use starch, jewelry, cologne and ain't always clean. These is more fashion than actual cowboyin'.
You are right but BDC doesn’t show you what he does behind the scenes. You just never know. 😅
I learned everything I do from generation of cowboys a man takes care of him self cowboy or not
That’s crazy bro because there’s a term called “cowboy starch.” I wonder how that originated.
Boy you sure try hard, don’t ya 😂
Everyone can agree that you should have good hygiene, man or women. Just like this channel is more about fashion than actual cowboyin.
The laundromat cowboy 🤡🤡🤡
…what does this mean? Lol do you not iron or wash your clothes?
The oddest roast I’ve ever seen.
