If I could afford Ocon while keeping Oscar I would. But...i can't....good episode. Like this series. On the other hand I could see Ocon crashing trying to move up the field
Nice new series! It's great to debate the value of the drivers so your content can be available to all fantasy managers with different budgets. There are actually a few things I view a bit differently. I would put Piastri in yellow flag. I find it hard to see him finishing on the podium now that tyre management is a bigger factor, so I wouldn't tear apart the midfield drivers to get to him. Also, I would put Russell in red flag, for about 16 points, 20.5M is too much. And Zhou Guanyu in yellow flag, I think there might be a mistake in your data - he's 9th on overtakes. Zhou is fairly useless as an asset, but I still prefer him over Bottas because of his low qualifying and more positions gained.
Think I'll go with Lec - Pia - Hul - Sar - Alb/Gas/Bot/Zho - Fer - Mcl so I can continue to build budget, and so I can have 3 moves next week instead of the usual 2. Who do you think would be best from that list as my last driver? Could also just keep Zho and swap Piastri to Sainz but I think I'd rather have Piastri and change up the backmarker Other option is Lec - Alo - Hul - Sar - Zho - Red - Fer, but then I have no adds to carry over so probably best to avoid this
I don't really understand the Ocon pick. Will he not be starting on minus 5 (unless he makes it to Q3). He'll need 3 on track overtakes to be in positive points on a track that as you mentioned isn't always great for overtaking. The DRS train last year sort of ruined the race for me.
Great comment, Matty! Ocon won’t suffer any negative points for a grid-place penalty due to the rules of the game. The wet weather could throw up some crazy results this weekend. Although the news about Doohan driving Ocon’s car in FP1 does dampen my green flag prediction :/
Oh. I didn't realise that. That's good to know. That does make Ocon a lot more appealing then yes. I had it my head that he'd have lost 5 rave positions so be on minus 5. Is only positions lost in race that occur negative points now then? That wasn't always the case was it?
@Matty-gl1xq If a driver doesn’t set a time in qualifying, then they receive a -5. A DSQ is -15 (Haas in Monaco). I don’t think you can lose points on qualifying any other way.
@@f1fantasypoleposition yeah I've just re-read the rules. Positions gained and lost are from the drivers starting and finishing position in the race, not their qualifying position. So, yeah only not setting a time in q1 or disqualification is a minus point. That makes final fix very interesting for later in the year if we know a and b tier assets will be taking big grid penalties for whatever reason

He will be a man on a mission. Not getting FP1 already dampens my enthusiasm though :/
Im think i will go budget build and get Lec, Sai, Fer, Mcl next race. that do you think about Lec, Sai, Pia, Hul, Sar, Ferrari-RB Visa to get there?
Not a fan of VCARB or SAR tbh. If I had to keep one it would be VCARB. Don’t trust Logi Bear in the rain at all.

I like Piastri over Sainz for now. My favorite backmarker is Bottas. I think he’s in a good place and driving confidently.
@@f1fantasypoleposition Thanks as always!!! Love your videos and click them the second they pop into my sub box every time! :D
Thanks for the support Sameer! Glad you like them

@Matty-gl1xq it sure is! I thought about it for Monaco if Verstappen took pole, but I’ll probably save it now.
