My father believed that he actually met an angel and he believed in guardian angels. So he was at basic training. He had been pulling targets at the range. He was in a chair he had been sitting in for days and a Lieutenant walked up to him. He was young and the best looking man he had ever seen. Like this guy could have been a movie star. Only thing was except for the rank insignia he didn't have a name or anything else. No medals nothing... He called my father by his first name and gently told him. "You aren't meant to be seated here. I want you to move to that chair." My father snapped up and said "sir yes sir" and moved. A few minutes later a ricocheted bullet struck the chair my dad had been in. The Sargent was pleased that my dad wasn't hit but didn't understand why he moved. When my dad told him that a Lieutenant told him to move the Sargent informed my dad that there were no lieutenants on base.

I really love how Infographics took on this subject with the assumption that the source material is completely credible. Not once did they try to discredit the bible or it's believers and even made the distinctions of what is and isn't considered canon. It's a very mature and sensitive approach to a subject that many would use as an opportunity to mock others. Good on ya.

This reminded me when I was in basic. I was taking my PT test doing the push ups, I couldn’t do the minimum required to pass. I prayed for God to give me strength when I was gonna give up. Suddenly I just felt a breeze go through my body and I regained all my energy back, I passed the test. Just an experience I had that I wanted to share.

same! I've never been a runner and I prayed to pass my run. not only did I pass but I was almost 3 minutes under my max at the time for my age

Not taking away from your personal experience. Just want to provide some insight on this being a real possibility (the feelings you got all your energy back and was able to complete the test). Congratulations btw. The human mind is really the biggest thing that holds us back. You can simply feel as if nothing left and honestly your brain is the reason. Your mind will always break before your body will. So, it stands to reason that you had extra reserves. Like I said not to take away from your beliefs. I would never do that. Simply put, God could of let you have mind over matter. Gave you strength if you will. But truly, let you have faith in your own strength.

Surprisingly well done and well researched. Had a similar near death experience. One was during our school trip in an amusement park. We rode the roller coaster and when almost nearing the "loop" part, the restraint bars on my seat was unlocked. It was the roller coaster model where the track was above you and the seats were hanging from it. It was inverted. It was not the traditional type. The problem was that it was the only thing protecting you from falling off and had no seatbelts. I was a kid but miraculously did not feel any panic and I just knew what to do. I moved the bars swiftly back and forth and I felt it "click" and lock in place just before entering the loop. After a few days, I remember hearing some news that someone died after falling off from that specific roller coaster. It was not my time yet. I still had a purpose to fulfill. Glory be to God.

@Paul Allen and my comment still stands? He needs to thank a god or some type of mythical being in order to process someone’s life being saved, instead of just saying wow that guy almost died , he had to come up with some type of unexplainable reasoning as to why things happen

They kinda got wrong one thing. They said the tree of life and the tree of knowledge and good & evil as the same thing. Otherwise mostly good job, they do a good job in asking the right biblical scholars and teachers. Not the nut jobs on TV lol.
I think probably having a diversity of theists and atheists, and a general look of 'Looking for lore' rather than 'proving to be truthful' is the best direction that they went with this. Christian or not, you gotta admit, the Bible has some cool stuff in it. Bet you can turn this into an anime.

Fell on his face in terror. Angels could be scary looking but imagine you are a human on this earth and you see a spiritual being pop up next to you. Odds are you will just freeze and get that roller coaster feeling in your stomach if you manage to stay standing.

I heard a description of an angel from a guy who had a near death experience. He said it was beautiful but powerful and that it pretty much dragged him out of the lake of fire and back to his life.
You don't go to the lake of fire when you die. The lake of fire is the second death and that only comes after judgement day which hasn't happened yet.

As a kid I always wondered why God punished Adam and Eve instead of placing full blame on the snake, Him being all knowing and all. Always made me feel like was in on it or something
He told Adam not to do it, but Adam listen to his wife over God.
They were given orders and disobeyed their father. 1 simple order and they went against the literal GOD what was he to do?
Bible states Adam and Eve were created perfect (perfect mind, perfect health) -unlike us suffering from health/mental problems in a messed up world. God gave them a perfect place to enjoy life -no suffering. They can eat anything they want except one fruit. They have free will, but chose to disobey. Didn't pass one simple test. Eve was deceived by satan but Adam was not (Adam decided to go along with his wife. Both were fully informed of the consequences that could affect not only them but also their children -the whole human race. That's why Jesus was sent to save us). They were not sorry afterwards either, but instead made excuses. It also shows ungratefulness to their Father.
I agree, God is all knowing and we have lots of questions unanswered, but He don't give us all the details like how the universe was created, or else the bible would be so thick and our minds cannot process/fathom everything at the moment.

13:12 Okay so my story begins when I was still pretty young, I can’t really remember it that well but my grandma and aunts have told me. When one of my aunts was giving berth there were some “difficulties” and her newborn was in the hospital for Months. One day my grandma took my aunt to church during a surgery on my aunts newborn (they did not know if he was going to make it) and a man behind them (an African-American man with blue eyes) said “Be at peace ____ all is well” addressed her by name. They turned around and he leaving. So after mass they went to the hospital and the newborn was fine. The surgery worked, and He and I are good friends still today.

Although there are certainly examples of bizarre looking angels (by our standards) in the Bible, they also can look very human, so much so that they can pass among humans unnoticed. As spiritual beings, they might not have any particular image but change as they desire. It seems there are some anti-Christian people who attempt to weaken others faith by stressing the weird appearance of some angels and ignore the more human ones.

2 months ago, I was driving to Toronto from Windsor on the 401 which is the busiest highway between Michigan and Ontario/Canada. It was around midnight and it was pouring down heavily! I started to feel sleepy. Immediately, I said to myself "I'll pull over at the next gas station for some coffee". I drove for another 5 minutes and started feeling sleepy again. This time, I felt a powerful urge to stay awake. It felt as if someone was sitting with me in driver seat and holding the sterring wheel. The road was blurry and the rain got stronger. Suddenly, I couldn't see the road anymore, it was pitch black! I was doing probably 100km/65 miles. I started to slow down considerably and the road was still pitch black ahead of me. Luckily, I slowed down. As soon as I got close to the obscurity I was seeing, I realized it was an 18 wheeler that flipped on the highway. It blocked the road in front of me. The bottom of the truck was facing me, that's why it was pitch black, and the hood was covering the opposite side of the highway. I pulled over and the truck looked like it was going to blow up. I dialled 911 and they said they were on the way already. If I wasn't careful, I would have probably made the accident worse, the driver was still inside the truck. So, I pulled over and the police showed up.
Honestly I think that it's impossible to know. Whatever there was before the universe is probably not something that we could ever comprehend.

I asked a priest once, why some angels look so scary. He said that from his studies, the lower the rank of the angel, the closer they are to humans. The higher the rank, the closer they are to God, and the closer they are to God causes them to look this way, because the angels who are directly with God, will never see or come in contact with humans

Adam and Eve weren’t allowed to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, not the tree of life, so Revelation 22:7 doesn’t imply their eventual allowance to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
The tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil are separate trees!
Note that they do say it correctly later in the video.

I’m the type that believes but questions every detail of these stories being real but when I was little I had an experience that I always thought was an angel. I was rolling back and forth on top of the bed and I rolled to far and started to fall off and about half way down it was like time slowled down and something stopped me and I landed slowly it was so weird but that always stuck with me . In Ezekiel 1:5-11 they are described as having the likeness of a man, and having four faces: that of a man, a lion and ox and an eagle. it is the cherubim that has the head of a lion, ox, man, and eagle not the angel. and the cherubim actually was the guard of the garden of Eden it says in the bible He drove the man out, and stationed east of the garden of Eden the cherubim and the fiery ever-turning sword, to guard the way to the tree of life.
The weird angels with the 4 faces is a metaphor for the north, south, east, and west banners of the Hebrew tribes. And wheels is a description of in the way and position they traveled when they lived in tents during the 40 years they wandered in the wilderness.

There is a descriptir in Mark 12:25, "Heavenly angels," which is there for a reason. I believe that Nephilim were absolutely fallen angel/human hybrids, and that the reason they did this was to wipe out any chance of God fulfilling His promise to Eve of sending a Messiah through her. I also believe the reason for the Noaic Flood was to wipe out those hybrid genetics, because Noah is described as being pure in his generations (genetics). Finally (well, for here, the subject is vast and fascinating), part of the curse God gave because of Eve's disobedience was that there would be enmity between her offspring and the offspring of the serpent, whom we know was not just a serpent, but was Satan.

Problem is is that the Bible was translated by priests and well I think that the translators might have did some translating errors probably and also humans are pretty much imperfect and I tryed to fact check it but I got confused because the Bible I read from was king James so I am not sure how you got your info from

Ethiopian Bible has all the books and they were some of the earliest adopters of Christianity.

When i was about 7, i was with my sister and a few new freinds we made at somebodies house. We were all playing upstairs but were called downstairs when we all came downstairs we saw our parents holding hands praying making the shape of a tunnel they told us to go underneath so one by one I watched the children run and jump underneath their arms upon coming out their countenance is changed and they were amazed saying did you feel that then I went for my turn to jump through I ran and Leapt and as soon as I passed underneath their arms I felt like I'd been hit by a invisible Force but the feeling was physical and also I felt very joyful and loved as if God filled me with his love I still find it very crazy today and since then I've experienced many other things and trust Jesus as my god amen god be with you all and protect you🕊🥀🌹🏝🌎❤

Chapter 20 of the Book of Enoch mentions seven holy angels who watch, that often are considered the seven archangels: Michael, Raphael, Gabriel, Uriel, Saraqael, Raguel, and Remiel. The Life of Adam and Eve lists the archangels as well: Michael, Gabriel, Uriel, Raphael and Joel.

It just goes to show that, the bible has been rewritten so many times that, everything has been changed to depict what some people feel "fits." Which explains why, every angel and anyone else from the bible is, described as white. But that's a different conversation for another time.

I wouldn’t simply just write off the idea of nephilim truly being angel/human hybrids, the book of Enoch was cut out from the King James Version of the Bible for a reason, it’s info they don’t want you to know about, because like you said yourself it flies in the face of everything they’ve known about angels
Enoch was cut off for completely different reasons than that.
