  • PATCO is a unique subway that connects commuters from New Jersey to Pennsylvania through rapid transit service on elevated concrete tracks throughout most of the route, and underground subway stops from the edge of Camden New Jersey, into Center City, Philadelphia. Broadway Station, otherwise known as the Walter Rand Transportation Center is also located underground for PATCO service. PATCO from Philadelphia is throughout is considered the Lindenwold Line, as it runs all the way from 15th/16th Locust to Lindenwold which connects to the Atlantic City Line of NJT's commuter rail. PATCO for most of the entire route serves as a connector to many services between New Jersey and Philadelphia that are provided by both SEPTA and New Jersey Transit. PATCO serves as a major connector and a portal between the states of New Jersey and Pennsylvania, covering surface area between the two states for residents around the line as well. Throughout Philadelphia, PATCO makes 4 subway connections and in New Jersey, it makes a major transit center connection which includes NJT's River Line, as well as the last stops connection to the Atlantic City Line, as previously stated. #patco #shorts
