Conor was so much more in control of his emotions back then. Calm, cool and collected. He seemed so sure, so confident that he would walk through his competition. Which he did up until Diaz. It’s such a stark difference to now. After getting all of that money from the Floyd fight, he turned into a completely different person. I hope he finds that groove again. Not so much for fighting, but for his life afterwards.
So true. It seems like he always had demons (like most of us), but they were kept in check. Some fire, some craziness can be useful, but the fame definitely tipped him over into a bad place.
