Wow my two favorite people together, I love you two, have learned so much about container gardening, my ground is clay, love container gardening, got alot tomatoes last year and canned them, made lots salsa too, yummy, much love from Kentucky
I always see these videos late, never when you are live. I’m Barbara, live in NY now and “my” back yard is all pavers. I’ve slowly been filling totes ‘ containers trying to grow my own veggies + flowers. Thank you for all your wonderful posts. Love em’!!
I have binged watch you two this weekend. I’m so thankful I found you. We have so much in common. Hummingbirds, birds, gardening, nature. Your ideas are spectacular and I’m doing a fountain this next week for my hummers. Watching from south central arkansas.
You are the most adorable couple ever, so sweet. I don't really do any gardening and I first came to your channel when I stumbled on one of your hummimgbird video just like that and I immediately fell for Robbie's enthusiasm and then the love you both put into your gardens and everything you do. It's a pleasure to follow you.
So sorry I missed your live. I worked out in the garden quite a bit this morning so I’ve got most of the weeds out of the peppers in the corn. So I start over at the other end again. I’m actually not minding at all I get to be outside and it’s beautiful. Hope you guys are doing well. You look good both of you. Anyway, I laid down to rest a little bit and I woke up and it was 230. Yikes!
I was worried about the plastic, and you’re right, with all the stuff we breathe in and do, we can’t avoid it. You have set my mind at ease. I’m so glad I found your channel. Gary said the best time to start composting is today, on one of his videos, and that’s what I’m doing. I look at your garden and get optimistic and discouraged all in one. I think where do I start? It will take me forever to get this going. I am a sugar addict, and I do believe it’s because we are lacking important nutrients in our bodies. Thanks guys. 😊
I love growing lavender. ❤️ I grow it from seeds, cloned cuttings, and starts I got from thr Lavender festival is Sequim, WA. Seed starting lavender is easy, just grow in a plastic container with a lid to hold in the moisture. Surface sow, gently press to make contact with soil, mist well, and close top. Don't transplant too early. Once the seedlings touch the lid, remove and keep the lid off. Before that, occasionally open, miss, and blow on them to make their stems stronger and prevent mold. When they are 3 inches, prick them out gently with a tooth pick and transplant into 3 to 5 inch pots. They don't like to be soaking wet, but never let the babies get dry. Once established, water a few times a week. English lavender is better than French, which burns during hot summers. ❤ Good luck! 😊
Hey guys, it’s nice to see the two of you together. I’m here you are like night and day. Robbie is got the energy of the energizer bunny and Gary seems to be at ease , more my speed. I don’t get your notification the day that you’re doing this, so I can’t go live with you. I have been subscribed with you for a while now. The Hummingbird thing is what cut my eye, so I watch most all of your videos on that I don’t see Gary much I don’t know if he just doesn’t post his stuff, PS the guineas are funny. Anyway, I posted on some other things like your birdbath. Mine don’t work and I tried to send a picture to find out what I was doing wrong and I couldn’t. I never heard back so I try different things so far none of them have worked, but I have hundreds of birds now. And they are more expensive than my dogs
Electroculture is old, back in fashion now. Using it seems to work. Hills Mills and Danny King at Deep South Homestead. He has used for years. I like it.
Robbie I did what you said I put old tuelle around my plants to stop the squirrels from digging and planting acorns and it worked for a while then it took my tulle up the tree in its nest ! I can see yellow tulle, and i saw green tulle in the front yard tree.well at least its being used
Hey Robbie I love your channel am I have learned so much❤❤. I started doing my own compost in containers and love it little bit tricky sometimes because I live in Florida and the ants I just can’t stand!!!I’m hopefully winter time comes it won’t be so bad✌️✌️😎
I have seen two hummingbirds so far. I put out a second feeder yesterday. I am just mixing up one cup of sugar water at a time these days. And divide it between the two feeders. I still have most of it left when I clean them each Monday. So that seems to be plenty. I planted red petunias in hydroponics nearby. But only one is blooming at the moment.
It's odd watching a "live" program here that isn't. Doubt it I can watch over two hours. Prefer your 15-20 minute videos. But I'm just getting started with my new tote garden and am interested in getting seed growing over winter inside, and brassicas, etc, started. And you, at 8:58 just got the question on inside or outside preference. So who knows, may watch whole thing. 🥴😄🥰
Love watching your UA-cam videos because I love learning more and more about hummingbirds. I have two feeders. Don’t have many hummingbirds visit but the occasion one or two are my buddies!!
Hi Robbie I missed your live today . What a treat having you and Gary sitting together relaxing talking to everyone. I do have a question . For the past two weeks I have had two big birds , not hummingbirds drinking out of one of the feeders because one has bigger holes. Not sure the type of birds 1 has long tell. I’m thinking it might be a mockingbird the other not sure if it is an oriole . I looked at pictures. I’m not sure if they aren’t suppose to be drinking nectar. Or maybe they can fend for themselves. Maybe it’s not a problem just inconvenience. They r drinking all the nectar lol. Should I just let them drink or is it not good for them? Ty Robbie
Hoping you can answer my question a hummingbird I saw it was mostly black an only had a little red on the side of its head. Visiting daughter in Novato California
I never knew you two did live videos. It’s really nice to know. Question I grew watermelon this season. Big fail! From 4 plants I got 3 small . First two were rotten. One is still on vine. Tendril hasn’t dried up.
Even for us, watermelon did not do well here this year due to the cool nights, water melons need very warm days and nights. Hopefully the one that you’ve got left once the tendril dries will be good even if it’s small. This has been a very different season here.
It’s crazy. I already had my name and when UA-cam came along it gave me my two favorite numbers. 33 Trinity and I have three children and 77 the number of completeness, add 3+7 together they equal 10 also a number of completeness. So, I can’t even complain, this time, about UA-cam. 😂
No this is it. To find his videos go to our channel page Robbie and Gary gardening easy and search through videos on the top. He doesn't have as many so you'll have to go page to page. Here's the link to our channel ua-cam.com/channels/1cDQMkljsH2M3XesAPvAxw.html

Hi Gary&Robbie, Bunnings here don’t supply walking onions, so they offered me a type called Climbing onions. Do you reckon they’re the right ones?
Oops! Not Climbing….
they’re called POTATO ONIONS (Clumping Onions)
