Another way to get the maximum from your gears is to record the parts separately into a daw and arrange your track there. Here I am using the sounds on the Electribe 2 to create a track from scratch inside of Ableton Live. You could also jam and record on the Electribe first, and then record the tracks to Ableton. The reason I am not using the export in this case here, is because I want to have more flexibility with tweaking the sound while recording. Don't limit yourself to only one workflow, explore the possibilities! 😃
    Thank you for watching!

Dude!you should shoot the teaching video of ableton Live and share it with all friends who love music, because many people don’t know how to use ableton live, but you are very good at using ableton live, I just recommend you, thank you very much for letting everyone see your technique

Cool stuff. This is pretty much the way I work too, except with other gear. I like working with audio, because I have a tendency to keep tweaking stuff for too long. Using audio helps me commit to ideas a bit more.

Thanks! 😊 I know what you mean, committing to the audio does help a lot with finishing tracks as well instead of tweaking them to death lol

Hey, I've made a tutorial on how to connect and control the Electribe from Ableton Live a while ago. If you follow my instructions there you can basically do the same in any daw and using any midi controller: ua-cam.com/video/QTBVef6S1ek/v-deo.html

would the workflow be the same with an Electribe 2 sampler?

Yes, should be the same if you are just recording it to a DAW like I am doing here

I also prefer to record tracks straight to Ableton. Then I can add effects. Fxs from E2 while export to Live unfortunetly do not save. As always good video.
