Great video and explanation, Sheila! One thing that I learned from Karen Ritscher that I've found helpful is to always fit the repull - and all of the coordination movements - into a context of the underlying subdivision of the music. Thank you for this really clear, illuminative video; I'll be passing it along to my students.
