Brainstorm are, for me, one of the finest metal bands EVER!! Brilliant songwriting and world class musicianship all round. They can be beautifully emotive and mellow on the one hand, and they can blow your brains out with incredible power and ferocity on the other! They certainly deserve far more acclaim than they are afforded!
I don't know why everyone disliked Memorial Roots. I thought it was one of the best Brainstorm albums. Conjunction 7 Planets, Nailed Down Dreams, Ahimsa and The Final Stages of Decay are some of the best Brainstorm songs EVER! This new single has already become one of my all-time favorite songs! Wish they would play more in the USA, though. There is a serious lack of true Metal in this country... : (.
And i had the chance to buy the new album yesterday, but don`t have money for it this month over and the salesman had only one exemplar. Now i have to wait `til the official release date. :(
-im a drummer - i allsow got long hair -aaaand im allsow german ^^ but metal and short hair is okay in my opinion metal is a way of fealing ! its a life style its a way your heard beats ! so let the people look like they want ! :) but of cause.....metal and long hair is much cooler ;D \m/
@furio1000 Yeah, that's Andy B. Franck. He was in Symphorce, who just disbanded earlier this year. Great group too, a bit more melodic than Brainstorm but still pretty good stuff.
@thenightwatchman3 I disagree.... U.D.O., Hansi, Bruce Dickinson some of the greatest metal singers all have short hair. It's in your heart and in your blood...not the length of your hair.
