Massive shoutout to the viewer who lent you this beauty!!!!
The awesome Del! 👏 😊
I have a Continental Flying Spur and paid £20k 3 1/2 years ago. I've not shelled out any big amounts in repairs and maintenance. Like every car, prestige or not, if it's well cared for, serviced regularly and maintenance done without delay, they are far more likely to be reliable and mines done 90K miles. I'd be more warey of a example that hasn't been driven than one that has. My best tip, unless you drive it daily, is by a trickle charger and ensure you keep it in a garage. I love mine and it's been dependable. I'd have another in a heartbeat if I ever sell this one, or maybe, it's big brother, the Mulsanne. Thanks for sharing.
I have owned a 54 continental GT for over 3 years now, bought with 35k miles on, road tax £390, insurance £263, service at Bentley specialist £800, bi annual as I do 2500 miles a year, mpg is 20 at best, 30 is miles off imo.
Absolutely stunning car, every mile is a smile.
Do your research, don't buy cheap for the sake of it, get the "right" one, you'll love it
What a beautiful and majestic car! It may be the old model, but amazing!
Hi Ben. Hope your doing good.
That's one cool Bentley. I like how they mark the isofix ports on the seats in the back.
Stay safe and take care.
Yeah that rear bench is actually made perfectly for childseats 👏
That rear passenger area...perfect for kids with jam & chocolate.
I've only been in a early model gt. I was a passenger but when he put his foot down it was smooth and effortless which is no surprise
Silky smooth that W12 😎
Great video Ben, and lovely car! Have you got new cameras? Loving the different angles
Yeah trying new cameras and getting mixed results, I keep playing around with things 😅
There is one in the local garage and I just said to the wife how about that for a Daily (whilst out pushing the buggy for a walk to get the little one to sleep). . . . you legend 2 days later this comes out - great content fella
Lol what a coincidence 😅 thanks man
Amazing. One cool dad. Keep the good work going.
Thanks man glad you found the channel :)
The FS is by far the coolest Bentley. Buy one, forget the chauffeur, drive it yourself.
I agree, lovely thing to pilot around 😎
im not too much of a fan of the exterior, the circle headlights and the tailights didnt age too well in my opinion. which is why ill just stick to my civic
The Video I didn’t know I needed.
With the prices of these in the second hand market, not far off the price of a solid estate car.
Man I’ve done so many cool cars just like this! Check them out 🙌😊
@@dadcars I’ve watched a few now. Great content.
I have looked at these as a possible replacement to the Sclass that’s accidentally ended up as the family car. 😂
This is a bit of you Ben, suits you mate! Great job as always.👍 Ride too smooth for baby me thinks!
Lol 😅 it’s a completely different experience to your v12 that’s for sure
Though I still adore Bentley, and will more than likely look at picking one up someday, out of all the cars that I've owned looking towards the super make brands, Bentley isn't fun like they used to be, they're not as bespoke as they used to be... they're just more German.
They're stuck at the crossroads of English bling meets fastidiously applied Teutonic frugality.
There's so many things that used to make a Bentley a Bentley, being the grand example of British grand touring, the stuff they are today is just a "murdered out mess" on the road.
What you have depicted here is the last of the classic Bentleys. I hope the Germans don't make the same mistake Tata did with Jaguar.
Hi Ben great review I currently drive a 2019 Gtc paying just over £1000 insurance fully comp , granted I may be a bit older than your driver but last year HR Owen wanted to charge me over 4000 for the same cover ,
Thanks! That’s really interesting 👍 wow 4k! 😵💫
In regards to the insurance. No its about bang on. The insurance companies this year and cleaning us out. Mine went up 80%
That’s crazy!! 🤯
nice vid, Ben.
Thanks! Very very cool car 😎 got me thinking about lux options
these mk2 ones do look nice
Looks so special in the flesh… massive though!
That’s portsdown you live near me lol
😎🙌
Short answer, the best family car :P
This was a special one for sure! Carrying my baby never felt so safe 😊
Any plans you or JayEmm will review the Arnage T? Are you aware of the Arnage T having isofix points?
No plans at the mo but you never know what pops up in the inbox 😅 it may have isofix, I’d have to check 😊
@@dadcars Cool cool. I'm looking forward to that day. Love your channel and the perspective you're bringing.
@@PashaJ thanks man I really appreciate it 😊
Try the same with The new Db12
It should be the same as the DBS Superlaggera in terms of childseats which I have reviewed. I’d love to review the DB12 though
Ps great video!
Thanks Tom 🫡
Rolls is designed for the owner to sit in the back... Bentley - the front.
Don't worry I will lend you my rolls Royce next you just have to wait for me to win the lottery
It’s a deal! 😅
Kids would be in the boot. No question....
Lol surely not 🙈
So I was wrong 😂
Lol 😂 you were close!
@@dadcars 4 door continental
@@iancullington6765 I will review the conti at some point I’m sure 😎 I know someone with one but just been to busy to ask them 😅
Your child should not be on sides if air bags aren’t disabled
Not sure what you mean? If a child seat is on the passenger side front seat the airbag needs to be disabled obviously
Oh oh within seconds .........banging the door.............it does have SDC Ben..................you 'd only do it once in mine........and next time dress properly for a Bentley
