  • Ollie is let loose in a Turkish kitchen! We are taught how to prepare two delicious dishes that would originally have been served to the Sultan and his concubines in the Ottoman Palace.

    wowww, I made the imam bayildi many times, because I love it, but I didn’t know all these tricks … I’ll definitely try … thank you Stephanie & Oliver ❤ one note: in Turkish, “to faint” and “to adore” are one and the same word … the imam fainted = the imam adored …

    Nazli and Rocco are amazing and funny. What a treat for Stephanie and Oliver. I laughed out loud at Oliver with the huge chopping knife. I think Stephanie wanted to take it home! This was wonderful. Thank you.

    This was wonderful. I loved the story behind the dish and the steps to prepare it. It looked so good, then the walnut stuffed figs, OMG! Sounds divine. Ollie, thanks for the laughs and I am happy you didn"t need the hospital. However you didn't slice the eggplant. I was glad you didn't if your clumsy. I do now believe you make can go home and make it.
    Those markets were beautiful.
    This was a great trip.❤

    I make a very similar aubergine dish without any oil, using veggie stock instead, it still tastes amazing and is very low calorie

    Honestly, guys, TV channels are missing out on you, but I doubt we would get the relaxed pace and the more intimate setting. Really loving this series, even you visited old stomping grounds and taught me new things and brought back wonderful memories that made me want to jump on a plane tomorrow. I keep sharing them with people to inspire their next ‘slow holidaying’ taking time to enjoy a country. Sorry for the long message but great job!

    I just watched this on an empty stomach and I love all mediterranean cuisine and anything with eggplant so now I'm craving this!

    i LOVE YOUT TRAVELS! I have some ideas, I was a young girl of 6 when my parents moved me to Orleans France,i didnt appreciate it when i was there but would love if you took us all to places within France also if Philip would do a christmas travel to the Place in Holland that is done in miniatuire.I dont remember the name but i was enchanted and im sure you would interest children to your channel as well!

    Imam bialda - the priest fainted - is actually a little joke. The eggplant is purple as where/are the robes of high catholic priests LOL. Thus the halved eggplants are the fainting priests 😂🤣. Love the Turks sense of humour
