Thank you for this! I did all kinds of dance in my early teens, including pointe, which was my favorite. My pointe shoes still fit me from when I was 14. I wanna do ballet again after watching the Barbie movies and remembering what made me want to dance in the first place.
Thank you for this! I am a returning Adult Dancer after being an Adv Pointe dancer in my Teens. I'm gonna do this on a daily basis! I need to break in new shoes plus am about to perform Nutcracker on pointe in a few weeks! :)
I'm so glad the video was helpful! But, when I recommended that on Facebook, I actually meant that "pre"-pointe was great for strengthening! Not all pointe exercises translate nicely to flat. PRE-pointe exercises are like this: ua-cam.com/video/i-9DK9HR06w/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/-1rSMe1HxfE/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/hTl0ESec_dU/v-deo.html And, in the On-Demand library, in the "Pre-pointe" section! (Or, live on Friday's) :)
I'd recommend getting fitted for a different shoe so that the fitter can look at how your feet are working with the Avas and give you a good recommendation. The Pointe Shop does super easy virtual fittings if you don't have a store near you!

How fun! Nutcracker is always so exciting! Glad you enjoyed the video 😁
@@BrocheBallet hello can men take pointe class?
YIKES! I had no idea my feet were so weak. Thanks for suggesting this great vid to help with my Eleve balance.

What a great video! Thank you.
You’re so welcome! Glad you enjoyed!! ☺️
That’s great. Could you do an intermediate pointe barre?
Hey Emma! We'd love to consider that for a future video! Thanks for the suggestion ☺️❤️
Love your classes. Is their any chance you could do a beginners pointe barre and centre class?
Glad to hear, Helen! Thanks for the suggestion! We'll take that into consideration for future videos! :)

Thank you. I’m a returning adult dancer. I’m very beginning pointe and have the Capezio Ava 1142W and find it hard. Do you recommend anything softer?

@@BrocheBallet Thank you. I will try that.
Btw. What shoes are those?
Maybe Russian Point going by the paler colour.
They are Russian Pointe Rubin! However, I've recently switched to Suffolk Solo! Check out my Instagram @julietheballerina for pics! ☺️
Good eye! They are! @@pheart2381
