Tyler does amazing work! I bought this didge for my son for his first didgeridoo and I can't stop playing the thing myself, I just walk around the house holding it in one hand ripping it! Thanks for the video much love!
Nice! I have an eight year old student whose family bought him this same didge. He loves it. Not sure if the parents have tried playing it, though. I should ask!
I bought one from Tyler at Indidginus in Oregon in August 2019 along with a 6’+ Chad Butler Alder didge and a 3-D printed 10 segment collapsible didge (like I didn’t have enough didges!) I love Tyler’s didge for sound and portability almost as much as my E agave didge I made with a friend’s help about 10 years ago. I’ve been playing for 22 years but have a lot of other interests so I’m probably only an intermediate player but I really appreciate the the skills I’ve learned from your videos. Thanks for this latest video.🤓
Hey, I've been enjoying your videos for a while so thank you! I wanted to ask where I can get the kind of stand for a didgeridoo like you have in this video? I'm located in Spain so preferably in Europe..
Ive been practicing doing circular breathing till I can afford to make a bamboo one to try it out but I always end up either spitting or breathing out of my nose on accident
My buddy found a bambo didge at a senior thrift store and I am finally learning how to play one. I was told at an open mic last week to bring it for this coming week. I'll be singing and playing.
Hi. I have two of these instruments plus a yucca didge from Tyler and they are all excellent instruments. The two bamboo ones are actually quite a bit different from each other. One has moderate backpressure similar to the one in your video and the other has significantly more bp. I love playing them all but I do have trouble playing them straight on. I have to play them on the side of my mouth and I think my challenge is how thin the edge of the mouth piece is. I have other instruments where the mouthpiece is more rounded in shape and I can play those straight on. With this instrument I tend to loose the air seal when I go for a breath, so I play these on the side of my mouth. I've considered having sending it back to Tyler to have a wider mouth piece installed but haven't done it yet. Glad you are giving Tyler exposure on your channel because not only does he make amazing instruments but he is a really nice guy and provides absolutely amazing customer service! Cheers.
Thanks so much for the comment! In all honesty, I actually wrote to Tyler and asked if I can sand the mouthpiece to make it a little wider. I have a big mouth! LOL. He said that would be fine and shouldn't hurt it, and told me what to use to reapply some finish to the sanded area. I also prefer a more rounded mouthpiece. Perhaps if enough of us mention this to him, he would consider updating the design? It's my only fault with his creation, but even then, since it's something I can change, I think it's minor.
Thank you for the compliments and feedback! In regards to the mouthpiece shape, I'll definitely take what you've said into consideration from now on. And Matt, I'd be happy to adjust your mouthpieces, just send me an email at your convenience and we'll get it going. Cheers!
I’ve had my Tyler Spencer bamboo didge now for several years, and I am still knocked out by it. I don’t know what they cost now but I paid $125 for mine, and it is some of the best money I’ve ever spent on an instrument. As you say, the quality of his work is impeccable ! And this comes with a beautiful wooden mouthpiece, which I prefer over wax. I’m glad you got to try one. Thanks for all of your wonderful videos.
If you coat it with 2 coats of epoxy inside and out, you won’t need the fiberglass. Depending on the walk thickness, you could probably hit softballs with it!

Sweet my son is 9, I completely agree with everything you said in the video I was shocked when I first played it!

Beautiful! I’m heading there now!🥰
that looks absolutely beautiful
Yes, it's lovely!
I am thinking making a digeeredoo with bamboo and fiber glass to make it stronger, what do you think guys?

thanks gonna save up for this didge
I've actually just purchased this based off this video. Absolutely stunning!
Amazing! Did you tell Tyler I sent you? ☺
