    So excited; Benjamin Osborne invited me to play test some of the x-13s and other models he has. I am going to test all of them out and purchase which one I think would be fit.🎉🎉

    Satin silver looks great! I also saw an X-13 with a two piece bell with a nickel flare. Very cool combination.

      Thanks, Eric! I do think it's a very attractive horn!

    OK ...... you just get better every time I cue you up ! Know you are approaching the instrument on many different levels . Price point is always a concern for me as my better 7/8ths informs me that if she sees a new trumpet ....... I Sleep On The Curb . Currently I am saving up for an Inderbinen Maroon . "What a maroon" (Bugs Bunny) ! Keep on keepin' on !!!!

    I was surprised how much the sound pillars make a difference. You can hear it even with the cell phone video.

    Nice specs and I prefer your piston finger buttons to what I've seen ! (paused at 3min)

      Yeah, it is an option from Edwards. I like the more traditional look...

    I’ve been trying to figure out how to work the mouthpiece rim diameter and depth would you know how to help?

    Are you using a ar resonance mouthpiece?

    How does it compare to the lotus classic? And I saw one with a nickel bell flare: do they normally do custom options?

      This has a darker/richer sound to my ears than the Classic. The Classic is more of an all around instrument.

    Would this horn project with a good core to the sound. What about is a big band ?

    • @trumpetthoughts
      @trumpetthoughts  Рік тому

      Yes, it does. I wouldn't use it for lead trumpet, but everything else is great.

    How much is the Edwards x13 satin sliver

  • @chayanchaya

    Affordable..?🤔😂

    • @trumpetthoughts
      @trumpetthoughts  8 місяців тому

      It's more affordable than compared to some of the other super horns out there. I think other horns that are most similar sell for around $6,000 and up and so the Edwards at under $5,000 is a relative bargain.

      @trumpetthoughts you are right ✅️ Especially if you are going to earn at least 1000 K per Gig .!🤣

    Typical trumpet player....plenty of practically empty bourbon bottles....proof of what it takes to keep us coming back to this instrument 🙂
