No kidding! I kinda hit burnout and had to step back for a few weeks.

Foam is good ... generally you never need to take it out unless it water logged and yours was nothing but water! ... I hope you put back foam because if you dont your boat can sink.

Yeah, but I believe in 2 bilge pumps to keep water out, and keeping the boat on the water, and not in or under the water. Plus all compartments that could be foamed are air and water tight, so they will add flotation anyway.

@@CapNJack007 I was just going to ask the same question because a lot of people put in foam to displace the water. I think for my project I’m going to use the bilge pumps now! Great video

@@tylerdowe7342 I've never seen a large boat with foam filled hull, including my 24 foot Sea Sport, and don't understand why smaller boats use it when 2 bilge pumps work great.

@@CapNJack007if you want to maintain positive bouyancy then just put foam back in under the topsides/gunnel and glass it in. Under the floor is unnecessary.

Thanks for the input@@reddysteddy2195 . I made rod holders under the gunnels so that can't be done. I have a major 2 stage bilge pump setup, so if water comes in, it'll get pumped out before sinking.
