I genuinely love that a movie with a gay romantic sup-plot that was important to the main story, got nominated for an Oscar. And I didn’t even hear a lot of “only doing it to seem woke” bs cause it’s just a really good movie with cool animation, compelling characters, and strong themes. We have come a long way, and I am happy we can have good representation, that gets such positive responses from audiences.
