Acetech bifrost just came out and you can make the flash literally whatever color you want. It also has a rainbow mode that literally makes the stream a rainbow about 2ft out from the muzzle its cool qf
@@shaunfilby8026 the muzzle flash effect looks way better on a gbbr, The LEDs will illuminate the gas coming out from the muzzle, producing a much greater flash. @Migtron762 most recent video is of it being tested on a ghk akm however it is the spitfire, not the Ace tech, although I imagine it would be exactly the same.
@@marcospuente2004 no real issues, granted its still really new. I occasionally get a failure to feed, but its known the magazine lips need worn in, and i have 7 mags so it will take some time. As for the barrel, its not steel, however there is steel barrels available.
I've used it on my electric AK-74, and although there isn't any gas being lit up from the barrel, the BBs still shine very bright after exiting the barrel, and it also works very well on Gas blowback pistols
It would be cool to play a game where using these things were required. A lot to ask to have a mandatory accessory, but I still think the added dynamic would be interesting.
As a soldier there is some thing I will mention as a + for this tracer unit, you can use it for marking your targets for your other team members, we do that in the forces with tracer pullets, so in that way this product isnt that stupid, and if you like mill sim its wery usefull.
I just got one and plan to buy some UV resistant, silicone based conformal coating. Should be enough to stop it dying too fast as I also plan on playing in the rain at night time
MFGs are actualy a thing on german LARPs. It is a huge plus for the immersion. In night play it gives an unbelivable feeling, sitting in a fire line, seeing all thouse flashes and not just hearing some pop-sounds. Shout out to Resistopia, P.R.I.M, Resist to Exist, 42k larp and everything that is comming up
i use the spitfire tracer for gel blasters, and it looks far more impressive on them than on airsoft. the water mist spray coming out of the barrel every shot creates an awesome halo effect. also, been using it for a year, and had no problems with water leakage, missing o-ring or not. thanks for the vid :)
It is designed to show your position. Every gun has a muzzle flash. At our Vietnam war project it’s a must to use flash muzzle device. Love that product. It’s also making small fireball. But got one annoying feature - it’s flashing by itself once in 5-10 minutes. That can show your position on stealth missions.
Bruh the muzzle flash features could be cool for evening, morning, or night at milsims for mah immurrrsions. Side note if you want to change the colors look at Photography gels(sheets of thin plastic used to change light color). Thin ones for speed lights can be cut down and can easily cha he the color. Just cut into ring and place on the inside between LEDs and the protective cap. Also insanely cheap.
@@DerpyPloo not quite. Light has different color properties than the normal color wheel. Paints for instance lose contrast and become more brown the more colors you add together With light the only degradation is the amount of light being cast. You can color correct anything and it won't muddy the color up however the more drastic the color change is the less light will be seen. Hopefully that makes more sense as to how color gels can still be effective but with a possible trade off of losing some level of illumination.
i honestly would get one for milsim and M4/MK18s to give my position away, theres realism for you right there, i would love it for a fancy night game where everyone had tracer or these hybrids tracers and blank fire, that would be epic.
Any idea if the LEDs inside are yellow/orange? Or are they filtered? With the glass shot out, you could probably cut lexan replacements with a color filter on them to change the color and up the bb resistance.
Where I live, milsims where the game keeps going well into the night, the rules actually require some sort of muzzle flash replication. Either tracers or muzzle flash devices or flashlights. So this is kind of a must have if you want to play multiple day milsims here.

So the part that stood out for me was the customization. As someone that has a gun covered in galaxy accents I would love to see more customization options. I like my milsim too but for indoor where you're not blending in with anything I think having the option of making obnoxious guns like some of the Call of Duty camos or something would be awesome.
I like the idea of having customizable muzzle flash colors. I like the concept of these muzzle devices for milsim events. Add some night vision capabilities and it would make night battles more immersive.
My friend likes to collect interesting airsoft items, this would definitely be up his alley. I don't get the appeal of these things for anything other than style points but then again I also use a neon pink sling whenever possible.
Depends on what kind of battle you simulate. More realistic, of course you give away your position either by sound or light from the flash of the burning gases.
I own both units, the Acetech Blaster is definitely better. However, Jet neglected to check the Spitfire properly; there is a rubber seal that you’re supposed to remove to properly charge it. That’s their answer to the moisture seal for gelball use. Color options would have been nice.
I just ordered a Star Wars E-11 replica for airsoft. red tracers with red flash would make my inner 70's child so giddy! Going a step further, use programmable RGB LEDs... then make it Alexa/google compatible and be able to change on the fly with verbal commands. Another cool thing would be to add a counter and be able to program it like real tracers and only trace after x amount of rounds, then stop. Also... Yes, you might give your position away, BUT you will look cool doing so. + It adds more realism for MilSim + For regular games it can provide an advantage as a strobe effect to temp blind your opponent as mentioned in the video. + It can provide a tactical advantage for your team as you will most likely pull attention away from the rest of your team
I know this is an old video. My 2024 version Spitfire has the ability to turn off the muzzle flash yet still charge the ammo. Once you turn on the unit, you just hold down the button until you only see the uv flash. It will just charge the bb after that, without giving your position away. ...as much.
Where I play night games you are _required_ to give away your position when you shoot. If you don't have a tracer, you have to turn on a flashlight. This will probably be the next thing they will encourage.
@@KilroyActual I don't consider it stupid, a real firearm would also give away your position. There are other rules too to balance the game, for ex DMRs must have at least 16 inches long barrel and at least a 2x scope and must replicate a large caliber rifle (so no M4s or AKs are accepted).
@@sogerc1 On a real firearm unless you have tracer rounds no one is going to see your rounds, and if you have a good flash hider or suppressor the whole point of those devices are to minimize your flash so no one can see where you're shooting from. Being forced to give position away is stupid.
@@KilroyActual People can still hear your gun IRL no matter what you put on it. However bolt action snipers are allowed to be stealthy. But they also must have low powered guns during night games. I am happy with these rules. I think Novritch's so called DMR is stupid, you know, the pimped up MK23.

If you introduce a flash, especially at night, that makes it extremely easy for the enemy to figure out where you are which equals death. I stand by my point that it's dumb to force people to give away their position.

There used to be an PFI smoke cap suppresor, that did create smoke with every shot. It had interchangable inserts with compressed powder, but there was a huge downside to using them - inner barrel, and hopup were full of junk after few mags. I suppose their wersion will work the same way.
I have one of these and am almost completely happy w it. The threads at the base got stripped and the entire front assembly has popped off and hung at a 45* angle 3 seperate times w bbs hitting it he inside at full auto. The last time my friend was using it and commented on why his shots were all the sudden arcing downwards, to which I looked over and sure enough he was blasting away as it was dangling off the front. I don’t even know how many bbs he shot through it like that that 3rd time. The 2 bottom screws got blown off and one of the 3 front end window panels that time too lol. Finally I bit the bullet and just epoxied the entire mounted end together. So you ask well what’s great about all that?? You still like it? Well yes... I mean the thing still works perfectly! It has literally had the living crap beat out of it. I almost wish I hadn’t painted over the trademarks. I think this deserves to let the world know who it is(of course it’s a replica of the real one and made in China at that) but all in all I would buy again
Don't know if this was a joke by EMG but in other videos (e.g. bb2k) of the ACEtech you can see, that the flash looks even better on a gbbr since the gas works like a "light-cloud" infront of the muzzle (if that makes any sence).

It's SUPER useful in night time jungle fighting! It blinds the enemy from getting a clear straight shot on you, and is terrifying.

During a semi auto except for lmgs night game I was using nvgs and used tracers to mark enemy positions for the lmgs to shoot at. Pretty fun strat.

The threads at the base got stripped and the entire front assembly has popped off and hung at a 45* angle 3 seperate times w bbs hitting it he inside at full auto. The last time my friend was using it and commented on why his shots were all the sudden arcing downwards, to which I looked over and sure enough he was blasting away as it was dangling off the front. I don’t even know how many bbs he shot through it like that that 3rd time. The 2 bottom screws got blown off and one of the 3 front end window panels that time too lol. Finally I bit the bullet and just epoxied the entire mounted end together.
So you ask well what’s great about all that?? You still like it? Well yes... I mean the thing still works perfectly! It has literally had the living crap beat out of it. I almost wish I hadn’t painted over the trademarks. I think this deserves to let the world know who it is(of course it’s a replica of the real one and made in China at that) but all in all I would buy again
How did you get the muzzle flash mode only it’s only tracer or both but not just flash

My initial reaction is: tracers could help call out cheaters.
Useless or not, most of milsim events I attend require you to use tracer at night.
It's either tracer or your flashlight has to be on while shooting.
Don't know if this was a joke by EMG but in other videos (e.g. bb2k) of the ACEtech you can see, that the flash looks even better on a gbbr since the gas works like a "light-cloud" infront of the muzzle (if that makes any sence).
I it good to blind them so if you miss they can't aim at you
