Hello everyone! First, I'll be posting the comparison swatches onto my blog and Instagram for the liquid highlighters today. I ran out of time yesterday and missed being able to take pictures with sunlight. Blog - www.themichelewang.com and my IG handle is @themichelewang . And, the liners held up very nicely and I wore them until about 10pm, a total of 8 hours. There was no wearing away, or flaking off and no smudging. Stayed put beautifully - as did the brow powder and wax. Those products really stayed put with no fading and no smudging. xoxo

Oh no, Michele.... you convinced me to buy my first Chanel makeup.... :-O Just placed an order for that Sheer Healthy Glow Highlighting Fluid in Sunkissed, which I think will look stunning on my dark skin. I feel a bit guilty for making these types of purchases in the age of COVID-19, but I'm still excited!
I love the Soleil Tan de Chanel illuminating fluid (sunkissed) mixed with my foundation. I use a few drops and feel like it really gives me a healthy glow. Thanks for comparing. I was wondering if they were going to change the formula or just the packaging.

I saw another review trying the 2 and the person said the only difference is in thickness/coverage, the CT is much thick and cover the skin while the Chanel makes it looks like you’re using nothing, that the glow is from your skin

I used to use the lighter color of the liquid highlighter and loved it but I was told to use the lighter one and didn’t really see a difference. I love how the darker color color it looks on you. It makes your cheeks look amazing.

I plan on getting the Rosy Light Drops! 😍😍 I have both the Pearly Glow and Sunkissed and love them both over my high-end ones! Pearly Glow, love using undereye and cheekbones or as a primer. Sunkissed mixed in my foundation or around my forehead and cheeks for the bronzey look. And it’s pronounced “Lay Beige” I know French is a little confusing.😂😂And the new Les Beiges Winter Collection is amazing, the blushes are life.

The formula will be the same for the Soleil Tan de Chanel, it’s just being renamed to be more accurate and in new packaging. As for new colors, maybe down the road.

Soleil de tan was on my list to go pick up, but store closures in my area beat me to it. Now it's clearly being discontinued. Or, more likely, repackaged to conceal a steep price hike. Bummer, but obviously a minor problem in the scheme of things.
LOVE your brows done a bit thicker like you did now better than the light brow look, it really defines your looks! I like the wax and powder brow! Also loved the silver wing liner and how you did it, you could wear this look as a day look with a great nude Hermes Lip!
I don’t think Sunkissed is a new product but rather a repackage of their current bronzing illumination that I have used for 15 years.
If you mean the Soleil Tan de Chanel Sheer Illuminating Fluid in Sunkissed (it's a round bottle): the ingredients are pretty different. The new one e.g. doesn't have parabens in it anymore, but Chanel added some perfume to it. I own the one in the round bottle and can only use this one, but unfortunately not the new version because I react badly to perfume.
Do you know if it's the same shade and similar application?
I haven’t been able to watch beauty videos for the past week.... too afraid, depressed, shocked, numb even. Finally decided to try again as I don’t think I’ve missed a single one of your videos since you started doing beauty until this past week and have to say it felt really good to be back watching you. Very calming and “normal”. Wondering one thing… Do you still have gel on your nails? I have gel overlay on mine and the salon close the day before my appointment so I can’t get it off and my nails are already getting full ratchet aargh! Salons still open there?
There are several advertisements on Instagram for gel polish removers and some salons that are closed are selling their products including remover by mail
I read on the Chanel site that for the brows, you had to start with the wax firts then fil the gaps with the powder... ☺️

I think the bronze highlighter would be great mixed into a more matte foundation to provide a glow. Might be nice on body but it’s rather pricy for all over body use Chanel loves to rename products without changing them. My milky cleanser has been renamed 3 times. Still the same product

The grey liquid eyeliner would be pretty on you, along with that lipstick you are wearing, paired with the glamour grey eyeshadow palette from Chanel in the Fall of 2018/19?. The collection was a play on black and white, shades of, etc.

Hi michele not for me I don’t understand why the bottle is so large , and I would imagine not inexpensive , sorry I don’t want to look like a Christmas tree , no not for me ! Same with the blush I hate mine looking so potent ! Too pinky , , I am very pale skinned .i prefer.my brows pale as I have silver hair , sadly I really wanted these products to work for me too ! I like the bronze liner , I might think of getting that one !

I think they're about the same consistency. I find the Chanel to be a touch more metalliic/reflective. I'd say the only reason to get these is for the colors. The Pearly Glow is something By Terry doesn't really have - they have the white one, and then the light pink, but nothing that's kind of a light nude (if I remember correctly).
is the Rosy drops more sheer than this liquid highlighters? because they sell it as a illuminating primer

It literally hurts my ears. You're the rich lady who got off the Titanic in a luxury boat while the rest of us are clinging to floating chairs in the frozen water. LOL

People are struggling. People are being laid off. People are looking at their children and thinking, "WHAT THE FUCK AM I GOING TO DO???" So perhaps as the reality of our collective future sets in, you might want to lay off the Chanel reviews and unboxings. It''s unarguably tone-deaf. We are not in the breadth of this catastophe to be have the luxury of dismissing it as a form of escapism. Realities are sinking in. Some are still in a state of denial. Many people who are reading these words in real time will be living below the poverty line in two months. They will have gone from making trips to Whole Foods to making trips to the food bank. So while we continue to grasp what our new normal is going to be like, maybe lay off the Chanel. It's literally emblematic of opulence and extreme luxury. If Kim Kardashian keep keeps a modest profile, I think we all can be a little more empathic towards those who are about to go from some to none. Now you stay safe out there.

I had a few very rough years. I can't begrudge people that have more than me. I often choose between buying something nice, or an essential need to this day due to my changed financial circumstance. If I feel bad I usually go help those less fortunate than me. Shopping for the elderly is one way to help. They often don't even have transportation. Some of us go to food banks and never have access to Whole Foods before this crisis, and still enjoy Michelle's videos. No one is forced to watch these videos.
