Bang on review chris. I have the entire fanatic system and it is by far the best late season gear i own. I 100% agree, if you are a bow hunter this is a must have, because it is definitely designed for you. Everything is thoroughly thought out and made with quality material. I am highly impressed with sitka gear. If you have problems the customer service department is top notch, and will help you out no questions asked.
Put the Fanatic through some 40mph here in Wisconsin last December with -25 wind chill, was toast and warm in this Fanatic jacket and Beanie, expensive but well worth the money for Wisconsin winter. I even wear it out Casually when it we get subzero temps and high winds, I don’t know of anything that is as good as this. Not saying there isn’t but this will surprise you on how warm it is, The Bibs, The Jacket, The Gaiter, and Beanie are hard to beat.
Loving my fanatic set. I got tired of layering under stratus set. Now less layers just as warm. One tip for crossbow or gun hunters… being right handed I wish I would have bought the “lefty” jacket. My right hand holds gun or Xbow. And range finder was in right pocket. Would be nice to have on free hand side.
We're stoked you're loving the gear! The Fanatic and Incinerator are both great options for cold weather. Let us know if we can help with any questions.
I use stratus tops and bottoms and depends how ya layer you can run down cold temps but iam really thinking of going fanatic bibs vs coat be more versatile . But be easier to layer bottom vs top go less upper for drawing bow
The tags say to wash on delicate cold and hang dry. With the water repellent they use there wasn't much water left on mine after the washer finished which was nice.
@russellcheng8992 yes sir I agree 100% they are expensive but I finally made the leap and got the bibs 2 weeks ago and the coat yesterday to match. They are warm aren't they? I haven't washed coat but did wash bibs on delicate with no problem.
@brandonwesson6818 yes sir you can tell they're made by hunters for hunters. The little things they put into the gear makes the price well worth it . An extra pocket for grunt tube to store , an extra liner in the pocket to store hand warmers, magnetic in collar to fold down to keep it from interfering with your bow string , magnetic strip and button on back to take the coat off and on without unhooking from the harness plus plenty of pockets for phone, gear etc pretty awesome stuff.
@russellcheng8992 yes I really love all the features they have. I used to laugh at the sitka clothing in field and stream when I saw the price tags. But you honestly get what you pay for and can tell the materials are real high quality compared to a $70 jacket from Walmart. Even the mesh in the front of the jacket to allow oxygen to the hand warmer lol They thought of it all.
Are you the typical guy with a $650 truck payment ? If so that's where you have gone wrong. Cut that expensive truck payment out of your life. And you can be nice and toasty all rut long !! I payment 3000 cash for my vehicles. Then I have money for new bow or bows every 2 years. And great warm camo !!
The most important info is the material it is made of. In this case it is synthetic, which is terrible for environment and as hunters we have to start paying attention to what our gear does to the environment as we are enjoying it. I recommend wool products. Microplastic terrible.

What's the best way to clean this system?

@brandonwesson6818 thanks mine git bloody and it's way too expensive for me to take a chance.

Are these water resistant?
Hey Owen, the Fanatic line is not water resistant. Check out the Incinerator Aerolite Jacket for a water resistant white tail system.
“All day” sits have been no problem with this set up
Glad you’re stoked on the Fanatic Collection.
Love it but geez it cost so dang much..
Im sure its awesome but its completely out of the relm of what most guys can afford.

Do you plan on leaving whatever you wear in woods and not bringing it back with your or what?
