@@RashmansbricksHe’s saying the lego shouldve been the flat 40. Honestly at 290 pieces and stickers- it should be 35. Three subpar minifigs arent worth an additional 10 dollar hike

At this point, I would say yes. Mega over the years has pretty good quality. It was just the accuracy that was relatively janky. But good quality got even better. Unlike Lego which has gotten more expensive and smaller. Ex: The Arc-170 vs its 10-year-old counterpart. The old one was far better. Heck Brickvault has a really good and more accurate Arc-170 for far less of the price. I mean of course you would need to order the pieces. Since it is just the instructions manual however its still a better representation.
@@sinisterisrandom8537 even then quality control wise from Lego has been going down compared to mega as well. I sell on Bricklink out of let’s say 700 sets in the last 3 years I’ve had about 30 quality control issues either broken parts, missing parts, or wrong parts included. And Lego only fixed about 70% of those issues. Where as with mega I probably own close to 400 sets, I’ve really only had about 4 major quality control issues that Mega either replaced the part, or in one case they refunded me the entire cost of the $30 set via a check and let me keep the set if I wanted to.
@@sinisterisrandom8537 and then I haven’t built the Brickvault Arc-170 before but I have built a couple of Brickvault designs before, I have their Separatist Cannon Built and on display with my droid army.
I was honestly waiting for someone to make this kinda video! Lego needs to offer a better product for the money they’re charging!
@@andrewr8645 I’ve been hanging onto this idea for a while now. Today was finally the day I let it break out.

I do love a good pot being stirred.

Cool video idea. It’s laughable what Lego is charging these days.
@@awesomejeeps9856 right? If they’re gonna charge that much they need to make it worth paying.
Maybe Lego WIll learn a Lesson from mega here!

Great Video my guy!
Thank you for watching!
it looks like the prices and piece count were swapped
How so?
Lego set 290 pieces retail $44.99
Mega set 462 pieces retail $39.99

Hot take Ahsoka’s ship isn’t bad, it’s just overpriced and that’s why it’s getting so much flak.
