budgeting is different for everyone. thanks for being transparent. Plan with Ilysse is a good patreon.
Thank you. It really is.
You got this!!
Thank you!!!
I rejoined Plan with Ilysse’s patreon. I use the Kell of a Plan budget planner. I love the functionality of it.
Same! It's such a functional space and has really been helping.
@@CreatinginChaos I met her at Heather’s KOAP Happy Hour at Go Wild Dallas.
@@flowerduckie9107plans aw! I bet that was amazing! She’s so great.
@@CreatinginChaos she is so sweet.
She really is!
My husband labels my planner purchases as a need and self care expense because I have a chronic pain daily and journal and planning helps mentally…I don’t have a you tube channel
Sold! Planner purchases are a need!
Ive been trying to commit to cancelling grammarly and my office 365 subs as im no longer working. I have separation anxiety on these 2 subs
I hear you on the separation anxiety from some subscriptions. There are some I should let go but I just don’t.
cooking and drinking at home is a hugh saver for money but you need to plan it. you can do it.
I’ve found that meal planning and prepping is really helping with this.
@@CreatinginChaos so happy for you that it is helping
@@ellenstam-mulder3002 thank you! I am too.
For me, feeling deprived leads to bingeing. I was VERY tight Jan-Mar and bought very little planner related items. I've made up for it in April and May. I think I learned a lesson - wait until the teacher release to make my planner decisions. I kept buying stuff from the spring release because none of it was what I REALLY wanted. And then the teacher release happened and I wanted all the things. Yep, financial plans blown out of the water! 💣
I was thinking something similar for spring planner shopping. The same thing happened to me this year. I have so many planners and no idea what I’m going to do with them.
I appreciate your honesty in reviewing your budget numbers. I have found that budgeting is an evolving process, which will develop as you go along. The time of year also needs to be considered, for example some payments are quarterly or annual, rather than monthly, so unless you determine annual cost and split them into monthly expenses, you will find you have peak spending months and lesser spending months. It’s all a learning process!
This is really great advice! And thank you for your kindness. It is so appreciated.
Hi! I am also a fellow Happy planner addict and Zebra sarasa fan. That’s about all we both have in common. I hope you won’t mind me commenting on your paycheck, which looks huge to me. I am a teacher in a primary school (7-14 year olds) in a small country in Europe and I earn monthly paycheck of 1500€ (Euros are similar value to dollar). If I had your paycheck, I would also probably spend at least 500$ on planner stuff I don’t necessarily need, but want 😂. I just can’t wrap my mind around how much more people in USA are making. I went to college to be a teacher. I guess I wondered how you would budget a paycheck of 1500€.
Hi! It’s so lovely to meet you. I used to be a teacher as well, but switched careers after 12 years of service. Honestly, part of the reason I took a new job is because the pay was hard to live on with my family of 4. My take home was between $2500 per month and $3200 per month during that time. Feel free to take a look at older budget videos I have, but I completely understand the struggle that teachers face.
