I agree, I lowkey was saying just a little while ago that if Fivio doesn't step out of his lane, IMO, he won't ever reach that next level because realistically its not hard to do what he does, dude basically sounded like Sosa geek 2.0. There is like 10 of his contemporaries, mf's all sound the same.
There is a reason pop blew up with the sound, and its because he didn't sound GENERIC within that lane. It was UK/NY drill beats, but his own sound/vibe etc among those beats. Pop didn't sound like drill, he OWNED that sound.
When I heard Wetty drop I was like; "Okay, this sounds a little more clean, maybe he has potential", and I been idling waiting for some shit like this. I been saying his voice would sound good in this lane he just needs to do it. I really hope to see him branch out lyrically like this allot more, branch out his sound, etc etc.
