“If this podcasts helps one person we did our job.” You guys have helped me tremendously! The world needs this kind of content! Always excited to hear each of your episodes.
Today I have 1,414 days (4 years next month) clean and sober. I entered recovery for the first time in 2011, had 6 years clean, and had a ton of incredible recovery then. However, my husband (boyfriend at the time) and I relapsed. After getting married we only made it 8 months before we both overdosed, and he passed away. It broke me (and still does). He's been gone now for 5.5 years. Anyway, I finally got clean again in September of 2018, and this time I'm doing things a little differently. I still have recovery, and all the knowledge from before, but I chose to work my recovery a different way. Thank you all for this episode. I specifically looked up "The Squeeze addiction" because I knew it would be just what I needed. 🙏
@jenniferconley3396 thank you. It's funny how my Higher Power seems to put people in my life at perfect times. I needed to hear this today. So thank you for taking the time. It's means the world ❤ I
It blows my mind that the podcast hasn’t completely blown up yet. It’s kinda silly, I saw an article about Taylor’s funny “praying for John” quip, and it had a bajillion comments- as it should, it was a hilarious comment. But only ten comments on this video with a FAR more important topic… (no offense John.) But all of that to say, I know that it will soon have millions of views. And when it does we can all go back to this comment and say “look, Sommer was right! We should have her on as a guest!”
Thank you so much for this episode. Listening from South Jersey too ❤I am dealing with this now with a Family member and it's breaking my heart 💔 The key Is You Have to WANT to Heal😢 I am sharing this. Thank you again 🙏🌻
