    Being from Southern California, I was hiking once with my children in 2005 in Utah, in the mountains near Cottonwood Canyon area, and suddenly up above us on a cliff, there appeared a Bighorn Sheep with large curved horns! We were astounded at its beauty! We just had to stop and stare as long as we could, which wasn’t very long because it soon left further up into the mountains. I will never forget that experience!

    Iran has a great deal to offer the rest of the world. Its people, culture, history, landscapes and wildlife would attract thousands of visitors if only world politics were different. Excellent video.

      Yes iran has some beautiful high elevation alpine and subalpine habitats. Their lands have endangered deer also found in Israel’s conservation areas. Cooperation is the key to allow animals to migrate and maye so they don’t become inbred

      Sure would like to obtain a sizable herd of Onagers from there to crossbreed the males with Percheron broodmares and fillies to develop a breed of mule capable of withstanding the climate of Cambodia 🇰🇭, and possibly pull a series of scratch built Conestoga wagons (doubling for their petite counterparts known as the chuckwagon) as well as being able to lug heavy loads on their backs. Also, the female Onagers will be crossbred with paternal male descendants of Misty Of Chincoteague to produce the equine hybrid offspring known as the Hinny. Just the mule, the hinny is also sterile, but if the hinnies are properly trained for use in the herding or cattle, especially Texas Longhorns, only then can a properly financed expedition into the more remote areas of Cambodia be conducted to locate the Kouprey. If found alive, it’s just a matter of throwing ropes around the horns of the Kouprey, and then hobbling their legs so they can’t flee from being captured alive. In the event that one would possibly charge us, we’ll surprise them by tripping them up using the Argentinian bolas, which gauchos have used since the Argentinian frontier days when that nation was still a Spanish colony. Any Cambodians wishing to join the expedition will require horseback riding lessons in order to handle the hinny to which the rider in question is assigned to, which means that a whole remuda with remounts is necessary to have on the expedition. Also, a sizable herd of Texas Longhorns made up of yearling bulls, broodcows, and heifers awaiting their first chance of mating will serve as bait to lure the Kouprey out of hiding. Then it’s just a matter of getting the Kouprey into the grounds of the Royal palace where most of the them will be held in captivity until their population has properly increased. Also, one of the herds will be brought to the USA for the purpose of establishing breeding colonies as well as possible crossbreeding with Texas Longhorn bulls and other domestic cattle breeds that have the horned factor in their DNA.

      They must have obviously filmed this in mid November to early December because of slight traces of snow buildup on some of higher peaks in that range, which just goes to prove that our savior Jesus Christ was indeed born in December in Bethlehem.

      Ofcourse, it would probably take a miracle to possibly roundup the wild boars 🐗 alive to somehow get them out of the Elburz Mountain range and down to the nearest seaport in order to load them aboard a ship bound for the USA, and after the necessary quarantine process in New Orleans, they’ll then be taken by semi trucks to meat packing plants to be slaughtered and dressed before spending the usual two or three weeks aging process in cold storage warehouses according to the USDA health guidelines. After which the hams will be sent to Paris, Tennessee, to be further processed by the Clifty Farm Company. Pork chops and spareribs will be distributed to various retailers, including Winn-Dixie while the bacon portion is sent to companies like Fischer’s, leaving what meat is left over to go to Simpsonville, Kentucky, to be grounded up as Purnell’s Old Folks Sausage. However, since what has been described will most likely occur to the males, the females will take place in an experimental agricultural research program in which they’ll be crossbred with boars of the domestic swine breeds such as Berkshire, Duroc, Hampshire, Red Wattle, and that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

    @MutualOfOmaha’sWildKingdom,
    If only we had a way to make them feel what it’s like to possibly have invasive species in their nation, for example, by simply releasing yearling Texas Longhorns into the Elburz Mountains, let alone the flat areas in which the Onager dwells, then they won’t know what to expect.
