I saw the voice actors for Zim and GIR at ConnectiCon this year, hilariously awesome guys, they shed a lot of light on the inner workings of the show and why it was cancelled and stuff too

yes. that's the point of science. but no, it stands for Information Retrieval. as in S.I.R = Standard Information Retrieval Unit or G.I.R. = Goofy Information retrieval Unit, or better yet, Goofy Irritating Robot. I LOVE GIR!

GIR is, technically a SIR unit. He's just probably made from out-of-date parts, and in need of a slight upgrade. But that's just my theory anyway.

I have a theory why it has't been removed. Probably becuause the sountrack isn't related or doesn't bleong to the same company as the video, maybe there is a loophole where they one of the companies can't remove other companies' content without consent from them? you said they removed some videos form your account, did they have unrelated soundtracks? Or were they 100% content from the same company or 100% reproduction (for example an episode with full video and audio)?
