Seat Altea change Climatronic temperature units (Celsius Fahrenheit)

How to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit degrees on the Climatronic display in Seat Altea. Change which system units you want to use to display temperature in your car.
This can be also done with coding but it's much easier and faster to use hidden button combination.

On Altea XL with display on dashboard you need to change it in settings on that display

Year, but you need to use diagnostic interface to do so.

mr-fix I got vcds and the cable to connect obd2 to my laptop but I only used it to check the fault codes is there any chance you cloud help me with it please ?

You'll have code like this: 00abc0d
c is region. Change it to 1.
1 - Europe
2 - USA
3 - Canada
4 - Great Britain
5 - Japan
6 - Arabian States
7 - Australia
