But which toothpaste are you brushing your teeth with? Have you been using Colgate? It is very important to use the right toothpaste.
Now, the thing is that there are n number of toothpastes in the market. Every other month there is a new toothpaste been launched. How do we decide which toothpaste to buy. Well, I can help you with that.
For this video, I bought 10 most popular toothpastes used by Indians. I will quickly analyse each of them and by the end of this video you will know if you should continue using your current toothpaste or is it the time for a change.

Also Lever Ayush Toothpaste contains Sodium Fluoride (Rock Salt Variant). As clearly mentioned on the pack. And toothpaste q.s. written in the ingredients includes anything from just a white paste, to all chemicals added like SLS and Triclosan. It feels great though.

My Great Grand Father lived for 98 years. He never used any toothpaste. He used to brush his teeth with neem(datun).
That neem datun has a very interesting story, let me tell you. My great grandfather was a freedom fighter. When our country became independent, government gifted him a piece of land for being a freedom fighter. He planted a neem tree on that piece of land (in those days people used to mark their territory by planting tree on that piece of land). The datun he used for brushing his teeth came from that exact same tree. He died peacefully at the age of 98 in year 2008. He still had 70-75 % of his teeth fully intact.
And btw that neem tree still exists today in my village. Perfectly healthy.

Yeah but his brain is full of dumbness. VICCO has 80% of excipients q.s which include chemicals like SLS, flouride and other harmful chemicals and only 20% are those herbal ingredients. Check the ingredients yourself. The last ingredient is “excipients q.s” which is very harmful!!!

This person is genuine as we can see the simple scientific research in his videos unlike others
Mr Vivek, Due respect to all that you are doing, there is also a catch in VICCO Vajrdanthi tooth paste as well. At the end they say Excipients q.s. that means it can contain any ingredient I listed here. Excipients implicated are flavourings (and their active compounds) - spearmint (carvone), peppermint
(menthol), fennel (anethole) and cinnamon or cassia oil (cinnamic aldehyde) (1,4-10). Also the antibacterial, triclosan (11,12), foaming agents such as cocamidopropyl betaine (13,14) and sodium lauryl sulphate (15-17), and preservatives such as parabens (4), polyethylene glycol (13,18) sodium benzoate (19), olaflur (amine fluoride) (20,21) and tin in stannous fluoride (22,23). By the way I am not expecting one apple to be clean among 100s of rotten apples.

I don't know about other things but toothpaste of colgate, close up are clinically tested and proven. They have FDI certificate also which none of ayurvedic toothpaste has. Yes fluoride is toxic when taken more than recommended amount. That's for everything I know of if taken excess is toxic.

Vicco is not effective it does not contain fluoride (which is in other toothpaste that helps in fighting cavities) and its not effective at all infact none of the non fluoride toothpaste's are effective.
They might provide a fresh breath but they won't protect you from cavaties...
I've ever had cavaties my entire life as I brush my teeth twice a day and maintain good oral hygiene but after seeing this video 6 months ago I started using vicco and today I am going to the dentist at 5.30 to get my 7 CAVATIES filled 🙃.

Vicco is hands-down the very best tooth-paste there is. My gums used to swell and bleed when I used to use pastes like Colgate and Closeup. And I also had cavity issues.
But since I started using Vicco, the gum and cavity issues have completely stopped, and I've never had to visit the dentist for any problems.
I do take a dentist appointment once a year for check-up and teeth cleaning, that's all.
I've been using Vicco for 15 years now.

Iam dental student , as per my knowledge i have studied.....fluoride in small amount is necessarily required in tootpaste .B'coz it prevents Dental caries . But intaking in large amounts may cause Fluorosis.

Tongue has to be cleaned properly to stop bad breath, even then there is a problem of foul breath it's means digestion is not good, will have to take triphala one teaspoon at night with lukewarm water for 3 months. One month gap after 3 months, it even balances Vaat and Kaff.

Just some words. Not against anyone but just sharing my experience. If you are not much caring brushing or simply do the brushing in your life, stick to Colgate. Today due to usage of vicco toothpaste, i had to loose money as well as my tooth for my lifetime. I regret atleast now for distrusting some scientific things in life. That's info for you guys. I used to brush my teeth with Colgate. But my mouth started smelling a few hours after brushing. By night it smelled like as if I have not brushed that day. Then my parents recommend me using their toothpaste which is Dabur Red and yeah I did notice some changes. So yeah Dabur Red is a very good toothpaste. And it broke my vision of seeing Colgate as the best toothpaste.

Hi... To all the viewers, this is highly misleading information... Don't agree with even a single fact...
1. We, in our bds, are taught how to make toothpaste... And do you know what we use? Sodium lauryl sulfate... Reason:it is a foaming agent, which helps in removing debris from your teeth.... This is the reason why some ditergents have it.. It's not harmful to have in your toothpaste
2. Fluoride is good... See the thing is, it's recommended 1000ppm for adults and 500 ppm for children.. So there are two categories of toothpaste here... Moreover... Adults don't ingest it... So it's very good to have fluoride in toothpaste especially of you are prone to cavities
3. Artificial colours won't make your toothpaste bad.. It's not a food item
4. Abrasive contents are required for you to clean your teeth... So gels are not recommended in any case... Abrasives in a moderate amount is important... However, Ayurvedic toothpaste like patanjali have higher abrasive contents, damaging your teeth
5. Preservatives and binders are required for your toothpaste to have shelf life... You again will use you paste for 2 mins and spit.. Then these preservatives won't be harmful....

SLS, Fluoride, Artifitial colors, preservatives, binders etc.. all are harmful for brushing, ingesting them is much safer, as ingesting them would make them less potent but keeping same amount of them in our mouth while brushing is much dangerous as they are present in our Sublingual region during brushing and from Sublingual region anything can be much readily absorbed and they directly enters our bloodstream bypassing first pass metabolism.
And Secondly SLS and Flourides in same toothpaste doesnt make a sense as they react and SLS reduces the cariostatic effect of fluorides.

If it is red it's a bit harmful

Before dabur red came in to market we have started using KPN ( same red paste) in Kerala when dabur launched , i felt it just a copy but still to be Frank no match with KPN. Am just an am admi i used sensodyne also it's a very good paste. I was suffering from tooth problems but I have avoided the pastes prescribed by my dentist. At hoMe everyone started using it my wife suffering from tooth problems she is born and brought up here at Mumbai and was not confident of kerala state paste but she is now really happy. It's my own experience. My two doctor friends where using Amway paste buy now they are using KPN. In olden days they are the first to launch red powder. KP Namboothiris Paste available only at kerala ayurvedic shops * where as in kerala it's widely used and available everywhere. !! It's there in the market for more than 80 to 90 years * i believe !!
