Happy to see you back with such a cool card ! It might feel slightly more "natural" for me to have her deal damage when you cast a spell from outside your hand, and gain you life when it costs less instead of the other way around, but I'm not exactly sure why.
Thank you for the kind words! I completely understand your point, it was also in consideration while designing, but I decided to go this way. I wanted the card to feel like "casting spells from weird places is beneficial, BUT foretell is extra good". Since life loss is actually the thing you want to be doing to win a game of Magic, I put that payoff behind that second condition. Other way around would result in the card feeling like "casting spells from weird places is very good and if I get them foretold, it helps me stabilize a little" in my opinion. The incentive would not be as strong, it's all in the intent. But as I've said, I see, how it would feel more "natural" the other way around. Cheers!
Oh! That's absolutely true. There's sadly just seven viable cards for this deck (Tardis and Zhulodok have no synergy here) and they are not that good, but Apex Devastator that also drains everyone for 10 life sounds like the perfect finisher in this deck.
Not sure I'd be able to handle this deck well, I'm not usually casting outside of my hand, but the design & art is absolutely amazing. Is it possible to add these custom cards on Moxfield?
I checked your Instagram and all your cards are so great, I wish they were official. I might check with my pod if they are ok with playing them, but I don't know where to start, so many to choose from
@@JPNox Thank you so much, that is extremely flattering! I'm afraid Moxfield has no way to add custom cards (however much I would enjoy that) but feel free to message me on Instagram, and I will send you the card images for printing out or whatever ☺️ Hope your playgroup will allow them
Surprised you didn't mention the two medallions for the casting from the deck part. Usually, you still have to pay full cost outside of paying life for some.

This works exceptionally well with cascade.

Great catch! The medallions are super good in this deck, I just didn't want to make the video longer by listing the cost-reducers as well.
