Love the review. Picked up the navy blue during Thanksgiving and wore it for holiday pictures. You can't tell is high performance fabric. I used a steamer for 2 min and all the creases went away.
Your shirt is beautiful, awesome watch, brilliant jacket& corduroys couldn't get any better, been lookng @ so many suits recently as well as blazers, all nice but pricey
Never seen a blazer with a hidden pocket& your wearing my favourite trousers, blue corduroy they look amazing on you, never seen a blazer such as this can't b real so had to replay your video over& over again + another pocket at the top you could stick your passport/boarding pass or flight receipt then in the other maybe your wallet or something wow

The lack of a short is a drawback. I have the Gramercy blazer and trousers. I've had to send both back for different styles or sizes--and that process has been painless for me, so kudos to Bluffworks for getting customer service down well. The regular fit pants were too baggy for me--I looked like a kid wearing hand-me-downs. I went with the tailored ones, which look much nicer, more professional. Even the blazer is "slightly" too big in regular for me, but it's so versatile, and I love all the pockets, that I'll use it until Bluffworks makes a short version (hoping that the company does). The blazer feels comfortable, looks classy, the material doesn't feel inexpensive, with wrinkle resistance: this will be my travel suit.
In comparison, I also have the Outerboro Motile Breeze suit, which was on sale for half off a few weeks ago. Like Ministry of Supply, Outerboro only has S, M, L, XL sizing, but the blazer fits me better than the Bluffworks Gramercy, with a few of the same qualities: wrinkle resistance, liquid resistance, takes a beating, etc. However, it's lighter, and unlined. The material is very different--stretchier, but in grey or black, with regular buttons, it works in a professional environment. Not as many pockets, but the two inner ones the blazer does have are zipped, which is nice. I thought the patch pockets might make it seem more casual, but after trying it on with a dress shirt, it will be fine for business and will be terrific for travel.
Thanks for the review. I agree the Gramercy blazer will be a great workhorse, especially for traveling--now if only the company increased the size range...
I’m 5’6”-5’7” and weigh 151lbs. Do you think a Bluffworks slim regular fit would be too long for someone of my stature? I emailed Bluffworks to offer the blazer in a short.
They do offer a short now.
what's odor resistance like? Can they stay fresh for 2-3 wears in between washes? Polyester is notoriously hard to stay fresh compared to other fabrics like wool and nylon.

I received mine today, and it is now made in China. There were wrinkles in the fabric from packing. I hope those come out.

Update: I asked Bluffworks for advice about removing the wrinkles that still had not come out. They asked me to email pictures. After they saw the pictures, they asked me to return the suit (with a prepaid label that they provided), and told me they would send me a new suit. So I returned the suit this morning, and I'm looking forward to a new one without stubborn wrinkles. That's great customer service.
One more update: the second one came and was even more creased than the first one. I sent it back, and they refunded my money. All in all, very disappointing even though their customer service is very responsive.

How does the fabric look and feel? I got some Mizzen and Main chinos, and they look, feel, and sound like plastic.
Smooth and soft. Which version of the chinos do you have? What year did you get them?
Hard to say, because I got them off ebay.

Regarding the poly performance fabrics, how are these different than department store suits made of poly or rayon? Are these really that good or just marketing?
That sounds like the perfect topic to dive into on video. Primary difference is wrinkle resistance and stretch. The poly/rayon suits I have are so hot and stiff.
I agree. I love my Mizzen and Main shirts but admit they do have that nice worn in poly smell some times. The stretch is great. It’s difficult to rewire my brain To think poly fabric is breathable.

No short sizes. I guess companies can only tailor to the tall -or- the modest...
Bad fit in the back of the shoulders.
Always an issue with my jackets but this is not as pronounced as some MTM deliveries. You!re always good for catching it!
