hiya! most people here are katya stans and i just want to quickly say please be kind! just because katya makes fun of herself in tv shows doesn’t mean we should. she has said before that she’s ‘not a great actor’ but i think that she did a fantastic job and always does. let’s all be grateful and happy that she’s in this and be proud of what she did. most of you are being kind and supportive but there are a couple of comments which aren’t so kind (probably unintentionally). let’s all be proud of this talented person and hope that she’s in more programmes in the future. :) ❤️x
Honestlyyyy I think it was the writing. It wouldn’t have sounded natural for the character anyway. She did a great job on AJ and the Queen and she had her moments in Hurricane Bianca 2, so I feel like someone behind the camera was just not playing to her strengths. She’s a great improviser so it would have made sense to give her a gist of what needed to be said and let her run with it. I also know it was the writing because of the way the detective finds out the queens’ real names. So this isn’t on our girl, really!!
It's so weird to see Katya acting knowing Katya. It feels so very scripted and produced. 😄 And it's like they're trying to explain drag to straight people. But I'm proud of Katya and happy for every opportunity she gets.
