I move R1 to R2 and R2 to the back button. Same for the left buttons. This way I can ‘rest’ my fingers on them. Not having to move my index fingers to another button. Not sure if it really helps but might a little?
@@1blktalon Nice idea, I changed the way I hold the controller once I played OW2, so my pinter is always on R1 and middle on R2 and ring on the back button, was hard to get used to but now I'm ok with it! back buttons have a very fast response for rapid-fire btw.

i use R2 (and L2) at 50% deadzone in call of duty settings 👀 mostly to prevent accidental taps of ADS and FIRE but also there is a faster release time because it doesnt need to wait for 0 to release it releases at 50% :)

I use R2 and L2 to shoot also, I just wish the trigger stops were actual digital triggers instead of the way the lowest setting is now.
having them on a lower zone could be better, but since I tested clicky triggers on my modified controller, there wasn't a noticeable delay difference unless someone feels more comfortable that way! which many people do tbh.
my r2 button on my dualsense edge is “gummy” (harder to press) any fix?
@@t.rxck. same on both my controllers they stick or don’t operate when pressed. So I switched to R1 L1
They couldn’t do digital triggers without taking away adaptive triggers

actually i realized that DS5 fits better with its default triggers (sadly) due to its new shape ,but i strongly recommend and im pretty convinced that R1 is waay better than R2 in DS4 if not mistaken

Hi, for typical DualSense, BT is typically better due to a higher polling rate, unless you have a BT problem, about HDCP, it really depends on the game, in most new games it won't affect much, in COD 120Hz mode it was only 1-2ms...
I was wondering if all these mods changes must be done with PS5 only and are saved when used on PC with the controller overclocked to 8000Mhz with lordofmice pc program?

Hey Danial can you make a video comparing a overclocked controllers input delay on PC compared to console delay? It seems to be an advantage but I wonder how big of a disadvantage console players have because of it

I recently changed to as well accept I made one change. Using a product called insta morph a Moldable plastic . i made plastic stoppers that limits the travel even more than the switches on bottom of controller . Now triggers only travel a distance of the thickness of a dime. Setting deadzone 1 to 2 or 3 . It feels like you’re using a mouse. It’s improved my KD ratio 30 percent . And when switching to grand Turismo. mxgp , mesx racing games my track times have improved. Personally I think it’s the amount of travel of the triggers . That makes it feel slower. I don’t even think I or we as humans can tell difference between 1 and 10 millisecond. But we can feel the travel distance of the triggers. And shortening trigger travel has been a god send for me

@@DanielZH it’s called instamorph moldable plastic. I should also mention I added instamorph on the bottom side. To make the grip larger and hand fitted, with fingers grooves. Basically custom grip that removes all the hand cramping stress of holding the so very small controller. For long sessions. You know this pain. I’ve also experimented with raising the height of x,o,square and triangle buttons when using the tall joystick pads. It really cuts down on thumb travel time.
Using instamorph Don’t put the plastic directly on the controller..Put tape down where you want to place the plastic ,I used not so sticky blue painters tape. It stays on but will fall off eventually. Long enough for testing . You could try a stickier tape . What I do after the pieces have Cooled and hardened is remove from controller and reattach using non permanent rubber cement.
Tips. Once your pieces are made you can add more if need it sticks to itself really well or you can remove small amounts by heating the plastic with a cigarette lighter or hot air gun while it still attached to the controller. The instructions tell you to use boiling water. But I don’t do that because I use a heat gun and bic cigarette lighter. Its faster

What about the standard deviation for both the r1 and r2, not just the average? Also how many times was it tested
As the first test is signal to Action, the deviation won't affect, but once the signal is sent, about the second question, for each game and each button, I tested them 10 times and the average is from 10 tests per controller / per game/per button = at least 30-60 tests.
With the PS3 controller, I mostly used L1 and R1 to aim and shoot because that felt comfortable. With the PS4 and now the PS5 controller, I use L2 and R2 to aim and shoot, and that feels comfortable. For me, it depends on the controller I'm using.
I agree, I was the same but on PS4 and PS5 it was more comfortable to me on R2.
Can you please do a video on whether the PS5 looks better and or runs better on native 1440p monitor or on a monitor that accepts 2160p and upscales it? I see conflicting reports. Some people say upscaled 2160p looks better. Others say 1440p native is best.
I'd say it varies from game to game and how developers implement the fidelity and performance modes. There is no universal recommendation, I believe.

so trigger on lowest setting is faster than bumpers, but not by a notice amount? Been playing fps games on flipped triggers for years, just ordered edge and didn’t know if it was worth it to swap back to triggers
Idk I play flipped shh just feels more responsive and accurate.. even with my deadzone on the triggers at 0... now don't get me wrong.. I do feel the diff. In the triggers.. but still feels like it's lil delay.. compared to L1/R1 witch feel sticky.. compared to the triggers... I play stick & move flipped
Only in terms of action to response, when it comes to rapid-fire weapons, whichever is more comfortable to you, feels better.

I’d suggest running 1440p as it can run games 120fps if your monitor supports it. I have a g2724d and it also supports an upscale 4k signal but I choose 1440p for 120fps games

when it comes to FPS, higher is better even if you have to lower to 1440p, but when it comes to 60FPS, if a game has a great upscaling method 4K downscaled to 1440p may look better (depends on the game and monitor)

Never really had an issue with input delay with any controllers in every game I played, always worked fine for me but maybe I just dk how to tell the difference between such few milliseconds lol

You can not, it's based on the BT Signal Strenght and if other BT and 2.4GHz devices are around, I try to isolate it and get close to +800, however, DualSense Edge has a better BT and is more stable on 1000Hz on both BT and Cable.

Hi, I no longer have a PS4 controller, but I think there are videos about that, however, the un-overclocked controller has a delay of 4ms in idle, that's not much on PC.

Between the two you mentioned, probably mouse click L1 R1 due to position, try and see which is more comfortable to you, R1 or R2.

0-100 does the same job, but on stopper 3 yes, that's the fastest in terms of signal to action, however, the difference isn't huge! if you're used to R1, just use R1.

Yes, they only stay valid as long as the controller is connected to PS5 & PC at the same time, and for that, you need a USB duplicator or connect to PS5 by BT and PC with USB but that way PS5 takes control over the light and it flashes!
I only do it for videos to look cool, otherwise, it's too much setup, I hope Sony adds this to PS5 software someday.

I can see R2 default is faster than 0-1 and 99-100 on your video.
@@ahmedebrahimi7128 That was the human test, in terms of travel distance, 0-1 or 0-100 starts faster than 99 as you need to go further. I use 0-100 unless the game has dead zone on R2 then I choose 0-1.
I bet the PS5 could do over 120fps at 1440p and 1080p, not sure why they cap it 120 :(
Because of Software limitations and most TVs are capped at 120FPS, they don't bother to optimize for other res and rare cases... we didn't even have 1440p for over years after release.
What about CoD sir? I use R1 to shoot atm but only bcoz i thiught it was faster than R2.
for automatic weapons or 1 shot like snipers, R2 is faster, but R1 might be more comfortable for Rapid weapons.

Well if your cheating doesn't really matter what button you use,you will land the shots..and slot of people cheat cause they can't play ,cause they would suck big time without it...call of duty franchise is one of the most cheats that people use..mir you see someone landing kill after kill with perfect recoil they are cheating.....most streamers cheat cause they can't look bad for their UA-cam page..I live it when they give advice on what settings to use when they forgytk tell you they have wall hacks, recoil control and aimbot..you can have the worst settings and just have the cheats wouldn't matter...
