Younghoon getting so into it he hits his microphone with his knee at 2:50 and then Dongmyeong's mic stand falling at the end is the funniest thing to me akgsgskgkgs RIP to the audio team. I also really like these outfits, they look so comfortable it's a whole vibe.

I just noticed after watching 2x that the fallen mic was exactly at the center for the last group shot.... Talk about a perfect accident 😁
if that's true we can no longer call it an accident lol i also watched it multiple times to see if myeong accidently hit it and it fell on its own but it was already sitting still on the floor lol probably it was planed to be there from the beginning

Ugh same!! My hope is for them to perform in Mdromeda Kpop like Mamamoo and Oneus for their recent comebacks. The instruments will be live for sure!

Today ONEWE shined even brighter!! They are truly amazing and become better and better at each stage, but i also want to thank Inkigayo staff for making they shine even more - the set was amazing, Harin finally had the space he deserves with amazing close-ups and the flashing lights on Kanghyun's guitar solo? Breathtaking!!! I know i can trust Inkigayo 🥺💛💛
There's a lot of something happened for this stage. But yet they perform it like nothing wrong is happening. The aura still got me.

When Kanghyung knelt down I got a flash back to Hwassa’ live performance of you give love a bad name, where Kanghyung was accompanying her and she put her foot on His knee. I think he was a teenager at that time- and they were still MAS and hadn’t redebuted as Onewe. Anyone else know what I’m babbling about?
Omg true!! This era has been giving me a lot of flashbacks to Kanghyun from back then. 18 year old Kanghyun was wildn' and he's doing it again now... my heart can't take it 😫💜

So about the members:
The main vocalist (the one in white) is Jin Yonghoon, also the leader of ONEWE. He's a 94liner and even tho he just sings here he can also play piano and guitar! And he's also a songwriter (among others, he wrote the lyrics for two of their tittle tracks, "A book in memory" and "Reminisce about All" , you should listen to these songs!)
The other vocalist and keytarist is Son Dongmyeong. He's a 00liner. As you can see here he usually switches from piano, keyboard and keytar (but also synth) and he can dance really well too! He took part in two survivals: Produce 101 S2 and The Unit (the whole band took part in The Unit, but Dongmyeong was amazing and made it till the last ep!)
The bassist and rapper is CyA (pronounced ki-ya) (real name Lee Giwook). he's a 00liner and the maknae, a baby genius who always write his rap lines, here too. He also wrote and produced "Q", a ONEWE title track (and also a collab with Mamamoo Hwasa). As a producer, he has a soundcloud account (latecya) with a lot of masterpieces (and produced a couple of songs for ONEUS!)
The drummere is Ju Harin, 98liner. He always does acrobatics with his drumsticks (here he steps up his game playing as the water was almost completely submerging him!!) and can also play piano (there's a cover he made on ONEWE channel!) and saxophone!
The guitarist is Kanghyun (real name Kang Hyungu). he's a 98 liner and a guitar genius - i mean have you heard that guitar solo? He does that for every song!! he's also a songwriter, in fact he wrote the lyrics for this song (getting inspired by a inside joke about ONEWE having schedules always when it rains), and also for other two title tracks, "Parting" and "Regulus", you should check these songs out!
As a band, ONEWE re-debuted in 2019 with RBW but they were already a band! They are self-made and together since 2015 (their former name was MAS0094 - aka "Make a sound" plus the birth date of the oldest, Yonghoon, and the youngest, CYA). They found each other by attending the same music academy or by being neighbours! Isn't it wholesome? They have the strongest bond, i swear!
Our fandom name is WEVE - it comes from oneWE and moVE and it means "to go forward together" but also "touch each other feelings".
I truly recommend you to try to give a listen to this whole new mini album, you can find a playlist on their official account, it's called "Planet Nine: Alter Ego". It's probably their best album! And if you want some more music, you can also try two other playlist on their channel: "Memory: Illusion" and "ONE"!
About video guide and other interesting contenti, here some of the best WEVE channels on yt:
-Ollie 0094: their "guide" playlist is wonderful to get to know them! But i also recommend two other playlists of theirs: "off the records" and "studio we" with clips from twitter about their music! In general all their video are worth watching if you ask me~

From Modern K music academy apparently 😅 Three of the members met as the youngest students there and that's where Solar studied too. Onewe were originally a self-formed/self-producing band from 2015 supported by Modern K the 1st time the debuted as M.A.S. 0094 before they signed with RBW in 2017 and re-debuted as Onewe in 2019.
They've also performed as a session band for Mamamoo as far back as 2016. Mamamoo were even there at the finale of the Modern K singing completion their main vocalist won in 2015 (it was this competition where the band recruited him) and the girls promoted their 1st concert too back then too 🥺

Agree, RBW needs to improve their promotion. We're just lucky Mamamoo take the initiative to promote them when the company doesn't. Moonbyul especially has been really generous in giving them radio appearances, 1st on avengegirls for their single Parting that RBW didn't promote at all (+ weves only knew they were on her radio because Byul told us on the day too, RBW said nothing 😞) and now again on studio moon night with their 1st ever cb show 🥺 hopefully RBW will do better this cb though.
Oh and I forgot to mention the rapper/bassist also singing is their maknae CyA (pronounce key-ah) '00 liner. He's also listed in the top 10 credited 4th gen idols too despite their relatively small discography.
