Ronnie Lesley I’m not from the EU, I’m Canadian, but It’s great for you guys, it’s too bad that UA-camrs like Nikkie Tutorials doesn’t do that, at least I never heard her referring to that, she does not even mention EU prices, which is odd a little. On top of it, it could help us all discover great brands or products that could eventually be made available to the rest of the world. For example, there was this line at one of our big pharmacy chain called GOSH, no one ever talks about it, when they decided to pull it out of the shelves, I bought a discounted foundation from them, I was mind blown, it’s my favorite foundation, god knows I have tried practically almost everything on the market. Now, I can’t get it, I looked everywhere, if someone had mentioned that brand, I would have tried and I think it’s a popular brand in the UK. It’s too bad:-(
Yes I agree 100%! With regards to Nikkie, she might be European but her videos all exclusively focus on the US market these days. She used Catrice and Essence in some of her earlier "drugstore" videos before they were available in the US but since she's not done anything specifically European in a long while.

Absolutely! First world (or...EU..hehe) problem, but it's really hard to hear about 'afforable' products from various youtubers, when you know that the $6 sponge everyone is raving about would end up costing you more than a beautyblender from your local sephora once you add the shipping taxes...not to mention the month-long wait...and the possibility of it never arriving (fyi, pat mcgrath labs is terrible with shipping to the EU...just sayin).

i bought the magic mini because of you. I don’t wear A lot of color but it’s my only color pallet and i love it so much! Also i love that the brand was created for darker skin tones because my cousin who had darker skin then me got to use it and said the shimmers finally show up on her eyes.
The teal from the Zulu palette is one of my favorite shades ever, used outside of the palette it can really make a look go from 10 to 100, I LOVE it with the subculture for exemple
I only have the magic palette. When i got it, the mini version wasn't available yet. I also recommend buying the mini one because those pane1 are HUGE. I disagree with you When you say you don't recommend the magic as the only juvia's palette or the first one. I love the color selction in there: there are booth matte and shimmers, warm tone and cool tone and i love it for this reson. I have the douce in my wishlist since i saw it last november but i have so many new things to buy because of all the launches! 😂
I just received Vault from Morphe and i am disappointed again, so i will say it over and over again: Juvia s palettes are THE BEST. I like the Zulu most, because i am vivid colours junkie as you Angelica. Thanks to you i also discovered Makeup addiction palettes, which are also high on my most wanted list!
Rachel Gomes while Makeup Addiction is in the UK they definitely do ship to the US & it’s not prohibitively expensive. I purchased the Meadow Palette this past fall & tracked shipping to the USis was £8, which is just over $10. While that is more than were used to in the US it’s very reasonable for overseas & they have great sales pretty frequently which sort of counteracts it imo, b/c ultimately the overall cost of a product delivered is what I care about more than the break down, so to speak. I got my palette at 40% off, which meant that with shipping added & an additional little sponge stand/holder I picked up I paid ~$37 including delivery...not cheap by any means but imo reasonable given the high quality of the shadows, & while of course more than brands like Juvia’s & Colourpop , it’s still less than many higher end palettes. When looking up my account to give you the exact amounts I saw they are currently having a sitewide 40% off sale, but it’s definitely not a now or never as they seem to have them fairly regularly. Hope the info helps! PS for whatever reason the same shipping option is now £7, which is about $9, so even a bit better!

I bought the 6-in-one bundle just yesterday! I feel like your video today was a sign! Hahaha. I knew I really wanted the Zulu (which was sold out as an individual at the time), Masquerade (which is sold out today)and the Magic palette. I didn't mind the Sarahan and Nubian 2 palettes. Only the Nubian palette gave me pause, but oh well, I chose the bundle to get all the three palettes I really wanted! :D By the way, your brush set from Sigma arrived at my place today! :) I already started using them and loving the brushes.

Ah, I love the idea of your challenge! Not a 'every shade in the palette' but a 'shade from every palette'! I'm glad you talked about the blushes first, since I haven't tried JP yet but have wanted to and they have a 40% off sale going.. I don't think you have, but have you tried their liquid lips? I never hear anything about those. Blushes and lipsticks are my weakness over eyeshadow; criminal, I know. 😛😛 The way they offer mini palettes is awesome, it's nice they're getting more recognition and being stocked on more easily accessible sites. Why Beauty Bay hasn't started stocking Colourpop yet, I have no idea; I hate recommending CP to anyone I don't know because they're far from affordable outside of the States. Your video was perfectly timed, my cart needs seeing to. 😏😏 Nubian II, Zulu and the Warrior are the ones calling to me. The Nubian II has my favourite pop colours, and has always spoke to me, but I think I'll limit myself to two and grab the Zulu and the Warrior. The Douce and Saharan II both look nice, too, but I don't think I'd reach for them as much.. especially the Douce one. Kinda love the way it looks, yet I rarely wear those types of looks. And indeed like you said, the Magic palette is more of a extension on other palettes from Juvia's Place. I noticed that when i wanted to create looks with it. I am happy i can find alot of matts in darker colors in my collection to make my Magic palette work. I am definently gonna pick up more from them.

The Warrior seems like it was made for me. Metallic copper, bronze and golds along with the matte staples are perfection. Love wearing colorful clothing but always keep my eye looks neutral.

I agree that it's not necessarily well curated for full looks but I do absolutely adore so many colors in the palette. I'm waiting for a cool-toned colorful or an all-metallic 16 pan mini palette from JP... I will pounce on that. I love vibrant pigmented eyeshadows! I love metallic eyeshadows! Still don't own a warm neutral palette hahaha. Watching your video makes me wish they offered these colors as singles too.
Yay awesome video. I only have the masquerade pallete and have being wanting another from them. And your comment on the masquerade is super accurate. I only use it for a neutral crease with a pop of color.

I got the Zulu and the Masquerade. I have a really small collection and I don't do make up often. In addition I have the new beautybay EYN brights palette and there are perfect dupe shades for the Zulu in there. I think they go really well together because the EYN palette has the perfect in between shades, it's like the perfect support palette for the Zulu. You could do so so so many colourful looks.
This is one of the best reviews of @juviasplace palettes. I had a serious series of allergic reactions and had to throw away all my palettes that I had far too long. Your video really helped me to decide what to purchase when they had a one day 40% off sale. What I appreciated most is the fact you included women of deeper skin tones and those who prefer neutrals in your discussion. (So I subscribed ). I think I saw this video back in August when you made it, but it was nice to find it again now that I'm actually looking into purchasing some Juvia's Place palettes! I ordered the Magic Mini palette and the Zulu palette earlier this month, and I'm so impatient for them to arrive. I already have the Douce palette in my wishlist to pick up next after I've actually had a chance to use the other palettes and try out the formula, and now after watching this video, I think I also want the Saharan II. I LOVE the look and feel of Juvia's Place, and I think they create some of the most unique palettes I've seen.

With the Zulu palette, I love doing yellow, orange and pink in the crease. Then doing a cut crease with the green and teal on the lid and turning the purple into a winged liner.

I think Juvia's Place shadows are the best I've ever tried, they're just so pigmented and blendable and reasonably priced it made me wonder what's going on with all the other brands lol. The Deuce palette was my first taste of Juvia's and I was literally blown away! Then I recently got the Zulu and the Mascarade mini and you're totally right the minis are normal size, the regular pans are big. The magic palette is next on my list and I'm interested in the Saharan II, (even more so now) and possibly the lighter blush palette. Part of why I loved the Deuce so much is that I could use some of the shades as blush and highlight too and it's gorgeous! I'm also looking forward to seeing your review and hopefully looks with the new one, haven't made up my mind about that one yet.😁

I think I’m going to pick up the douce palette when Ulta does their 10x points day in the very near future! It looks like the perfect companion to the Smashbox pinks and palms palette which isn’t the greatest quality, but I absolutely adore the color scheme so I’m willing to make it work lol.
I'm new to the brand but I'm already addicted. I bought the Nubian 2 a few days ago and I'm already trying to figure out which one I'm going to go get next. I'll have the whole collection soon. This brand seems to be the best of everything. Its fairly priced, performs well, great colors, cruelty free, and is owned by a woman of color, who started the company with two thousand dollars. I love Juvias Place.
I’m rewatching this after their small quads are out. Funny thing is you’re having a neutral moment lately so the Nubian one would be an interesting visit now. This also reminds me of why I started following you forever ago. You’re always critical but conscientious about where a brand is in its growth. I.E.- where it started and where they’re at now. My 2018 makeup goal was to try JUVIAS PLACE & now that they're available on Ulta.com, I can buy them. There's about 4-5 of their palettes that I Really want & I WILL get them before the year's over! I prefer very pigmented & bendable colorful eyeshadows. I'm not big into basic nutrals, basic warm tone or basic cool tones. There are a select few basic neutrals, warm tones & cool tones that I enjoy using but for the most part I ONLY use color. [I love gray lavender shades as a crease color when doing a purple look AND it's one of my fav lipstick shades as well (along w/deep blood red & 'crazy' colors like black, the chocolate brown shades from the 90's, Greens & Blues). Greens, Teals & Blues are my everyday kind of eyeshadow colors; especially brighter vibrant Greens. But I also enjoy a good blue-toned Purple (I can find the shade but usually isn't as pigmented as I would like), Hot Pink, Vibrant Pigmented Yellow (which has been difficult to find bc they're usually too muted &/or not pigmented enough), Vibrant pigmented Orange (also difficult to find bc the ones I have aren't pigmented enough & have to be built up, just like yellows, & I don't have the time or patience for that ish), & Rich Vibrant Red.] I love mattes, matallics & duocromes. Not big on most shimmers & especially don't like glitter infused mattes.

I absolutely love the Zulu palette! It's so versatile that I can create neutral & colorful looks with it. I've used the matte turquoise & it hasn't given me any problems. I only have problems with the yellow shade that doesn't show up that well on my skin.... It's more like a crease colour on me than a full on lid shade.

This was a helpful break down of their palettes! I’ve been eyeing their palettes for a while, but didn’t really know where to start because they all interest me tbh. I also can’t wait for the tutorial on this beautiful look.

Ah, I love the idea of your challenge! Not a 'every shade in the palette' but a 'shade from every palette'! I'm glad you talked about the blushes first, since I haven't tried JP yet but have wanted to and they have a 40% off sale going.. I don't think you have, but have you tried their liquid lips? I never hear anything about those. Blushes and lipsticks are my weakness over eyeshadow; criminal, I know. 😛😛
The way they offer mini palettes is awesome, it's nice they're getting more recognition and being stocked on more easily accessible sites. Why Beauty Bay hasn't started stocking Colourpop yet, I have no idea; I hate recommending CP to anyone I don't know because they're far from affordable outside of the States. Your video was perfectly timed, my cart needs seeing to. 😏😏
Nubian II, Zulu and the Warrior are the ones calling to me. The Nubian II has my favourite pop colours, and has always spoke to me, but I think I'll limit myself to two and grab the Zulu and the Warrior.
The Douce and Saharan II both look nice, too, but I don't think I'd reach for them as much.. especially the Douce one. Kinda love the way it looks, yet I rarely wear those types of looks. I'll be good and restrain myself.

Such a good video!!!!! I love Juvia's Place palettes. I own the Magic and Douce myself, but i got the Zulu and the Saharan 2 on my wishlist for sure. And indeed like you said, the Magic palette is more of a extension on other palettes from Juvia's Place. I noticed that when i wanted to create looks with it. I am happy i can find alot of matts in darker colors in my collection to make my Magic palette work. I am definently gonna pick up more from them.

The Saharan II is my absolute fave blush palette. I bought it because I wanted Bee and it’s soooo perfect. The whole palette is Perfect.
The Warrior seems like it was made for me. Metallic copper, bronze and golds along with the matte staples are perfection. Love wearing colorful clothing but always keep my eye looks neutral.

I'm waiting for a cool-toned colorful or an all-metallic 16 pan mini palette from JP... I will pounce on that. I love vibrant pigmented eyeshadows! I love metallic eyeshadows! Still don't own a warm neutral palette hahaha.

Yay awesome video. I only have the masquerade pallete and have being wanting another from them. And your comment on the masquerade is super accurate. I only use it for a neutral crease with a pop of color.

I got the Zulu and the Masquerade. I have a really small collection and I don't do make up often. In addition I have the new beautybay EYN brights palette and there are perfect dupe shades for the Zulu in there. I think they go really well together because the EYN palette has the perfect in between shades, it's like the perfect support palette for the Zulu. You could do so so so many colourful looks.

This is one of the best reviews of @juviasplace palettes. I had a serious series of allergic reactions and had to throw away all my palettes that I had far too long. Your video really helped me to decide what to purchase when they had a one day 40% off sale. What I appreciated most is the fact you included women of deeper skin tones and those who prefer neutrals in your discussion. (So I subscribed ). Now they are the foundation of my eyeshadow collection. Most of my colorful looks have been one or two shades but I feel ready to take the plunge into more colorful looks. I think I saw this video back in August when you made it, but it was nice to find it again now that I'm actually looking into purchasing some Juvia's Place palettes! I ordered the Magic Mini palette and the Zulu palette earlier this month, and I'm so impatient for them to arrive. I already have the Douce palette in my wishlist to pick up next after I've actually had a chance to use the other palettes and try out the formula, and now after watching this video, I think I also want the Saharan II. I LOVE the look and feel of Juvia's Place, and I think they create some of the most unique palettes I've seen.

With the Zulu palette, I love doing yellow, orange and pink in the crease. Then doing a cut crease with the green and teal on the lid and turning the purple into a winged liner.
Thank you so much for doing this video! I think Juvia's Place shadows are the best I've ever tried, they're just so pigmented and blendable and reasonably priced it made me wonder what's going on with all the other brands lol. The Deuce palette was my first taste of Juvia's and I was literally blown away! Then I recently got the Zulu and the Mascarade mini and you're totally right the minis are normal size, the regular pans are big. The magic palette is next on my list and I'm interested in the Saharan II, (even more so now) and possibly the lighter blush palette. Part of why I loved the Deuce so much is that I could use some of the shades as blush and highlight too and it's gorgeous! I'm also looking forward to seeing your review and hopefully looks with the new one, haven't made up my mind about that one yet.😁
Update: just ordered the Magic palette and Saharan II with the 40% off code yay! Can't wait to play with them!

I think I’m going to pick up the douce palette when Ulta does their 10x points day in the very near future! It looks like the perfect companion to the Smashbox pinks and palms palette which isn’t the greatest quality, but I absolutely adore the color scheme so I’m willing to make it work lol.

I'm new to the brand but I'm already addicted. I bought the Nubian 2 a few days ago and I'm already trying to figure out which one I'm going to go get next. I'll have the whole collection soon. This brand seems to be the best of everything. Its fairly priced, performs well, great colors, cruelty free, and is owned by a woman of color, who started the company with two thousand dollars. I love Juvias Place.

I’m rewatching this after their small quads are out. Funny thing is you’re having a neutral moment lately so the Nubian one would be an interesting visit now. My favorites are the Magic palette and the Saharan 2! I bought those a while ago and they remain my favorite palettes I own.

The only Juvia's Place product that I have is the Zulu palette, and I absolutely love it! I think based on this video, the next one that I'll probably go for is the Masquerade palette 😍
That's interesting because I feel like the purple in the Zulu palette is the less impressive one. It works but it takes some finessing
the nubian 2 palette is my favorite. i love pairing it with jewel toned mattes and army greens. so pretty! I also love making contrasting looks with the saharan 2! xoxo

My 2018 makeup goal was to try JUVIAS PLACE & now that they're available on Ulta.com, I can buy them. There's about 4-5 of their palettes that I Really want & I WILL get them before the year's over! I prefer very pigmented & bendable colorful eyeshadows. I'm not big into basic nutrals, basic warm tone or basic cool tones. There are a select few basic neutrals, warm tones & cool tones that I enjoy using but for the most part I ONLY use color. [I love gray lavender shades as a crease color when doing a purple look AND it's one of my fav lipstick shades as well (along w/deep blood red & 'crazy' colors like black, the chocolate brown shades from the 90's, Greens & Blues). Greens, Teals & Blues are my everyday kind of eyeshadow colors; especially brighter vibrant Greens. But I also enjoy a good blue-toned Purple (I can find the shade but usually isn't as pigmented as I would like), Hot Pink, Vibrant Pigmented Yellow (which has been difficult to find bc they're usually too muted &/or not pigmented enough), Vibrant pigmented Orange (also difficult to find bc the ones I have aren't pigmented enough & have to be built up, just like yellows, & I don't have the time or patience for that ish), & Rich Vibrant Red.] I love mattes, matallics & duocromes. Not big on most shimmers & especially don't like glitter infused mattes.

I have them all except the newest one. Waiting on restock. They are amazing!! Im a makeup junky and I collect everything they put out. They are so affordable and the formula is better than some of my much higher end pallets.
I absolutely love the Zulu palette! It's so versatile that I can create neutral & colorful looks with it. I've used the matte turquoise & it hasn't given me any problems. I only have problems with the yellow shade that doesn't show up that well on my skin.... It's more like a crease colour on me than a full on lid shade.

I just added to Zulu to my list. I have Masquerade and thought I might get Magic next but after seeing the colors from you I like Zulu more. I didn’t realize the bottom was more a pink instead of a red.
