Shelley is the main protagonist of The Boy In The Drawer. She is voiced by the same child actress who played Angela in Angela’s Airplane, Tyya in Something Good and Robyn in Murmel, Murmel, Murmel.
Man the things we grew up with in the 80's Boy In The Drawer: Shared hallucinations and threat of indoor drowning; Murmel Murmel Murmel: Child abduction no question as well as abandonment and attempted infanticide all wrapped in a cute little bow!
Robyn is the main protagonist of Murmel, Murmel, Murmel. She is voiced by the same child actress who played Shelley, Angela and Tyya. Murmel, Murmel, Murmel is the deuteragonist of Murmel, Murmel, Murmel. He is the baby who Robyn found in the sandbox.
I was surprised Murmel Murmel Murmel didn't end with Robyn finding the parents of the baby Or if she never did, she could've gone "Well, I can't take care of you, but maybe my mom and dad can!" And then the baby ends up being her new brother
So he just takes the baby, slings him over his shoulder and walks off? Yeah, that's alarming; actually, according to Munsch, the book states that Robin is five years old, without parents and finding the baby in the sandbox then walking around the city with him. Don't ever do what Robin did, plus Robin is only five years old! That's two missing kids in real life. One more thing; a dozen diaper salesmen waiting in the bushes for some mother to change her baby in the middle of the street? Yeah, that would happen mabye..............NEVER EVER! No such thing; and why the hell would the mother take off running down the street when she forgot a spare diaper for her own baby and they're selling her the one thing that she needs?! Why not just give one of the salesmen two dollars for a disposable diaper and finish changing the baby?! That I'll never get!
I like how each episode of this series has a song.
Poor Shelley her parents barely pay attention to her. They’re so oblivious that they don’t even notice that their kitchen is flooding!
That's what I thought
Well, Shelley was telling the truth
Man the adults in murmel murmel murmel are odd as all hell, I’m waiting to hear a amber alert for the missing baby lol
Dude this was made in 1991, amber alerts weren’t even invented yet
I can't believe how epic this show really is.

I miss quality entertainment like this
I randomly think of this story and the baby saying Murmel all the time and I’m 32. I was about 5 when I had this vhs!
I don't know why, but this series is one of those things where it's annoying, but cute and actually kinda likeable at the same time.
Moira looks like verruca salt
At first I thought she was going to suggest that the cat clean the kitchen!
How come I never watched this as a kid?
That didn't really feel like a birthday Moira had.

Yeah, she does.
