First commenter. Hi Rob I just landed my first tech role in cybersecurity. I am having a little imposter syndrome at the moment because I feel I rusty in Networking.. please how can I improve my network and in-depth windows OS skills, subnetting, Domain server, ip and rest.. Please kindly share resources I can use to improve. Thanks
Hey Rob, self teaching for full stack (currently building out 4 complete/complex projects to include on my resume). Should i start applying as soon as i have 1 complete project? (beside my portfolio site) or should i wait till i have completed 2-3 more? p.s These projects will show various facets of my skill (i.e 1 to show off frontend/styling, Another to include heavy API implementation, ect ect) and will be revised and improved as time goes (until i land the job)
Then the question becomes how do you get a mentor when you are completely outside the industry and you are learning on your own? I suppose you could go to meet-ups if that is an option for you but that seems like a Hail Mary play.
