Apple iPhone SE 3rd generation was just launched and made available to the public today and in this video, I will share with you my first impressions and thoughts on the iPhone SE 3 Midnight. iPhone SE 3 also comes in Starlight, and product red. Apple iPhone SE features a 4.7" Retina LCD display, 4GB of ram, Apple A15 Bionic, and a larger battery than the iPhone SE 2. I'm hoping to be able to get this phone in the future. My budget is very tight, and I'm trying to save my extra allowance in order to buy this phone, because iPhones are very expensive in the Philippines. Fingers crossed for those in my situation.

If Samsung would release a 429 dollar phone with a LCD display and big bezels everyone would make fun of it..
Not if it had the Exynos 2200 or Snapdragon 888 or 8 Gen 1.

@@blacbraun Firstly there is a group of people who prefer the touch id on iPhones or are sensitive to oled pwm flickers so the iphone se is for them. If u dont like the phone then it probably wasnt ment for you

Great video and great insight to this new entry iphone...for all extensive purposes was marketed to people who still love touch id, who have PWM issues and can only use LCD panels, and no one else. I agree I hoped they would have refreshed the look of the SE line up by putting the a15 chip in a XR form factor. Would have meant a bigger battery, better front facing cameras and a larger display for those who love watching movies, videos and TV shows.

I heavily considered this phone because the iPhone SE 2020 grew on me over time. And if the battery was increased then that kinda solved one of the big issues with the old one. I ultimately got the iPhone 13 mini because it has dual cameras, an OLED screen and the base model has double the storage. And then having a full screen display makes a difference.
+ it’s even smaller than the SE! 😊

I really like the classic design of the SE. Because it's so compact and easy to use and to hold. And also im not that bothered on the screen size because i have the ipad .

My mum needs a new phone desperately! She has had a 6s for like 7 years now and it’s cracked and glitchy. She doesn’t like the idea of no home button and hasn’t been keeping up with the phones, but I comforted her by telling her they come up with new home button ones. The SE2 is exactly the same as the SE3 in looks and is cheaper! So that’s gonna be her new phone!

Love this device, the only present phone with a reminder of the past, power of today and promise for tomorrow.

I thought se’s came out every 4 years like the iPhone Se 2016 then the iPhone Se 2020 but then they switched it up to 2 years which is a bit confusing but apple played it smart with this one.
They wanted to flood the market with phones. They do 3-4 when Samsung does 4+ the A line, the S line, the fold, the flip, I think there is more

I think the reason they bumped up the price is because the 5G could be a selling point to some people
If it's marketed as the "cheapest iPhone with 5G" i can understand the slight price hike
I have the se 2 and it changes to 5g when I am near a place that has it.where I live we don’t have it and probably won’t anytime soon I don’t even have a full signal.

Hey I absolutely totally agree with you in what you are saying I'am not an iPhone fan but I think that they should have put a double camera on the back off it like the iPhone X it just looks a lot like my iPhone 8.
I chose the iphone SE #3. I really like the home button and the fact that its cheaper and instead of a mechanical home button it has the amazing not brreakable mechanical button. It is not very new to me (size wise) because I upgraded from the Iphone 6S PLUS. lol

reason people buy this is because of touch ID and classic body but modernized software. its the equivalent of doing a LS swap on a Miata. tiny but powerful

The bill of materials for the build is higher with the 5G radio. That has to be done of the price increase.

I don’t count myself among them, but some people like touch ID and don’t care for the gesture based system of the newer models. Of course the reason Apple sells this phone, it’s because people are buying it :-)
They also wanna compete with Samsung who has 4 a year now when apple does 3-4.

I switched from my 13 pro to this and honestly don’t miss it at all . Media consumption is done on my mac , Touch ID is everything
I own 13 pro, 13 mini and SE 3. SE 3 has the best screen way better than the other two. OLED really hurts my eyes
you cant be serious 😂 I have an 11 and a Xiaomi... screen on the Xiaomi is better, its a cheap AMOLED but somehow better than a $600 IPS LCD. Sure with true tone turned on its better and vivid but OLED is OLED

My iPhone 8 is easier to consume media and view in general compared to my 12 mini even though the latter has the better display
The iPhone SE is classic and they should stick with that. I currently have the iPhone 13 and hate it! I don’t like the box design nor the wonky lens on the back. The iPhone SE with a single lens is just classic. I’m actually buying out of my “device contact” where it should be free if I keep it till 2025. But I actually hate it too much so I’ll buy out with Verizon and trade in the iPhone with Apple. For the iPhone SE 3rd gen. They need to stay away from the boxy look but that’s just my outlook.
The square off iphone looks better but if you run, the rounded edge doesn't rub your leg. I just updated from the original SE to the 2022 and love it. I hate big phones.

Sadly it looks exactly the same, but its way faster which is very nice. I was expecting a iPhone XR look tbh with the iPhone 8 like back but the front with the notch and less bezels.

Because of 5G only being available on iPhone 12 and above, you cant compare this to anything less than 12 mini. But it has a newer chip. For me, the speed of the Newer chip and 5G is the deal maker. I got a used like new for $219 which you cant get a 12 or 13 mini for.
I’m gonna switch from expensive iPhones to budget iPhones like the iPhone SE series.

Already ordered the iPhone SE. Much prefer the curved form. Will be trading in my iPhone 12 mini. Found the squared sides uncomfortable. Great form factor for me. Love the midnight colour too.

A53 easily
Depends on a lot. If you want a larger display the Samsung models will give you that. They also have more cameras and a modern design. On the SE you get a slimmer design, 4.7 inch display, and Apple's most powerful processor. This is going to be getting updates and powerful until 2027-2028 for sure too.

I think its mostly marketed for young/old people as opposed to enthusiasts. In all reality, as someone who had an iPhone 7 before, the display is very solid for what it is. Content looks sharp and crisp. But of course, it cannot be compared to 120hz 1440p displays lol.

@@Ash-bl7vm And for that, they have the option of the iPhone 11. Weaker chip, larger battery/display. That’s why the SE3 can’t have those things. Because it would undercut the sales of the iPhone 11, which Apple still currently offers.
