They do this because they know that some of these elderly foreigners, only traveled to Africa because it was on their bucket list and will probably not return to Kenya. The end result is that Marwa and Dee end up owning the abandoned investments. However, it didn't work out for Dee because Jamtours didn't simply give up and leave the country.

CocoMama, I have studied abroad in Kenya and can relate to those students. They are not as daft or ignorant as scammer want to believe. Trust me those students see right through the villa Med people. Being in America you learn how to be really good at fake smiling and asking questions you truly don't care for the answer to pass by time. My Kenyan professor watched us like a hawk and had assistants to pull us away from fake Masai and scammers in Mombasa😆. We stayed in our professor's village part of our stay located in another area. We didn't get the needy sob stories like in Nyanbohase though. We enjoyed ourselves. I understand why those students didn't eat much at the villa because of the lack of seasoned food Im sure that's why they stuck to fruit. And as you could see there were a few West Africans in the group so imagine how their taste buds protested. It is what it is 😂🎒 And I know the students were thinking Ro you are simply a baby mama nobody cares about the story how she and Baba Marwa met. Also did you see how the professor responded to Ro when she asked him what he thought about the place. And he was like I'm from here😂 He was so unimpressed. Especially talking to a baby mama.
