God bless his soul and rest in glory forever. Mr. Nick C. Is & was one of the best Smooth Jazz Guitarists, musicians, songwriters ever! This song High Flyin is an absolute harmonious and soulful journey of a song!
God bless in rest to Mr. Nick Colionne. Heartfelt condolences and blessings to his family and friends! We are the better for having been graced with his musical gifts during his journey on earth. This was the first tune and cd that I ever heard (and purchased) done by him-and what a great one it is! It's the quintessential laid-back contemporary instrumental groove. This slower version is beautiful also...never heard it until now! Thank you for sharing your talents with us, Mister C. Your classy style, both musically and sartorially, never will be duplicated! Peace and Blessings to all. Thank you for posting "High Flyin'.
One of my favorite smooth jazz artists. I can’t believe it. RIP nick. I am so glad I found such beautiful music from you and I will forever cherish it. Gone too soon.
RIP Nick. Thank you for giving so much to this wonderful genre. This was the radio version of High Flyin. Much better than the album version. You can ride to this one.
And the cigar goes to you sir, who has spotted the tube type! This one is a new old stock 6P3S (6L6 equivalent) from a Ukranian Ebay seller. I bought it to use in my 'Windy City' harmonica amp ... but I really can't hear any difference between that and the OEM tube that Sonic Pipe Amps provide, but the tube was cheap enough.
God bless his soul and rest in glory forever.
