there s a hidden mechanic in the basic attack loop, if you let go of the attack button while the swords spin away and hit it again when you get the blades back(your character will glow purple and make a slight explosion noise), you will dash further while launching opponents in the air.
Thank you for this, I didn't knw about it. I have practiced with it and realized you can also change the direction of the dash when you boosted it. So if you are attack to the right, but move your cursor to the left of your char when you do the empowered dash you will dash that direction instead of the direction of your initial combo hits.

You mentioned her basic has some uses compared to most other classes, but you didnt show the omnidirectional purple dash she does if you attack when she flashes purple after her 3rd normal attack? Its not major but its something people often dont figure out. I was waiting for it since u flashed purple like 3 times xD
@@AlexanderBC42 when I'm out of cool downs, its nice especially later when things don't die instantly because it does have a knockdown. Making it also useful in PvP (although definitely impractical there). I believe it also gives a minor amount of Shadow meter
hi, nonone seen to mention that if you time your last auto-attack (wait a bit after the throw) when your character flashes with dark energy it will fill your gauge, it just a bit but every bit helps went your skill are on CD

Picked this one for my first character. Demon form seems weird to me because when it’s almost full it doesn’t go through completely and ai can’t activate it
@@DrybearGamers actually it was always under 100% and never went above that. Worked after relog later deep into the night when noone was trying to join q
Compared to many of the other classes, Shadowhunters are very straightforward and easier to play. Some other characters have a lot more micromanaging than this class

I also want to add that the boosted attack adds to the Identity meter like an intrusion skill!

For the basic attack if u wait for the sound cue/purple glow, on last hit/dash will be further and knockup enemies as u dash thru them

It's actually so important too, because it givesvknockdown. I instantly gave the guide much less credit after he skipped over it

On NA/EU the class engravings have a different translation than in the video
Dark Side = Demonic Impulse
Quick Draw = Perfect Suppression
Im in na its still demonic impulse

What is the point of Quick Draws 50% rate of accumulation on chaos energy ? I thought chaos energy is the build up to transform into demon form ?

Was interested but transforming classes are usually very hard to master.
You can spec into the one that keeps human form and doesn't transform.
Use Deathblade then, she's more of a Rogue or Assassin.
