This is actually clips from the M’era Luna festival. It’s a Gothic Rock/Metal festival.
Katha Mia, great female background soprano vocalist and the males with their German accents, I'll go an 8,4.
Just love Katha Mia's voice in the background. She is the drummer from Mono Inc.
Really enjoyed that gals.
I'm an 8.8 on this one 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
The "counter culture people" in the video were Goth's. Both, the people on that meeting/festival and the musicians were mainly part of the Goth scene. Not the metal scene.
Even the singer of "Lord of the lost" is more close to the Gothic-Rock scene than to the metal scene. Even if "Lord of the lost" are often playing Industrial Rock/Metal songs.
My guess is: The scenes with all the Goth people are from the famous "Wave-Gotik-Treffen" (Wave-Gothic-Meeting) in Leipzig. It's like a huge Goth-carnival. It's the biggest Goth festival on this planet, as far as I know.
Joachim Witt is an old German star from the times of the Neue Deutsche Welle (New German Wave) in the 1980's. It was a big comeback for the German language in pop/rock music in Germany back then.
And Joachim had his big hit "Der goldene Reiter" during that "New German Wave". He's still well known in Germany and he's now a part of the Gothic scene, as far as I know.
I'm recommending Joachim Witt and his song "Wo versteckt sich Gott?" (take the VNV-Nation remix, please).
Greetings
Mega
We will add it to our list!

Thank you! :)
