The hammered dulcimer is a diatonic instrument but this song is in the key of E. What you're probably hearing is just the medieval tonality of the hammered dulcimer in general. You can play in any key some are just easier than others. Thanks for watching. :)

You ever heard of Vincent, by Don Mclean? I bet you'd do great with that song, too. That's my request, atm. It's from the same guy that did American Pie. It's a song about Vincent Van Gogh. You handle very melodious tunes well, and complicated layered tunes, too. Just fascinating what some people can do with an instrument.

Hi Neil. I haven't heard that song before but I like Coldplay a lot. I have a done a couple of their songs with a guitarist friend of mine. I'll look into this one. Should be fun. :)
