"They're angry", hah. Angry like a kitten lol. I have rarely seen a more happy group of people during their studio playthroughs. It's such a nice thing to see, too, them laughing through entire songs and such. I really love their albums.
@idi0t Absolutely. but not so much this one. I find this one is actually pretty angry. It's an outlier. I mean it ends on the line 'I hate you, I hate you!' Not the themes you get in other Nemophila songs :)
Nemophila describe themselves as the loose and fluffy band with a sound from hell. This song *IS* angry but the girls aren’t, they’re just bloody good at what they do. Revive is happier, their song Life will make you tear up, Monsters will make you dance. Enjoy! For more social conscience with very normal young women behind it try Hanabie. You will be confused but you will thank us.
George, your Winterson t-shirt is awesome ! Let's go. Dissension is super powerful. OMFG, the contrast of the singer's voice between the scream/normal voice is amazing !!! I liked it a lot, thanks guys.
Hell yeah! I love Adabana and this one also epic!!🤘 I think I like them more than Lovebites.. might be cause they are so heavy!! I love the contrast of the heavy scream that get you hype and then the clear chorus that is clearly infectious! They seem to do everything right!! Awesome review as always guys!!🤘
So happy you like it. We sure have more Nemophila coming! And we think we might be getting into them more than Lovebites as well. Thanks for watching! /Andrei
First!! - They be the heavier of the japanese girls metal bands - next suggestion: Demon's Lantern - i remember that headbang challenge, it was a very very good one ;)
You two are really cranking videos out quickly! This song was pretty cool. Also, this band fixes one thing I don't like about Lovebites, and that's pronunciation of English words, at least in this song, is spot on for me. Other Japanese bands, like BAND-MAID, Doll$box, etc. just seem to throw in English words without taking the time to learn how a native speaker would say them.
I get your perspective, but I feel like the "japanese accent" or just the alternative pronunciation is precisely what some western people find so cool. I personally don't mind. With that said I think Nemophila sure stands out among all the japaneeseries we've already done. / George
This is great, I've not encountered this band before, they kick ass. Great variety of sounds, heavy but catchy and quality songwriting. Kind of like post-hardcore meeting melodic death metal in the middle with a wee bit of visual kei injected into it. As you're digging this I would definitely check out Serenity in Murder (symphonic mixed-gender melodic deathcore) maybe 'Noticed this is the Betrayal', 'Isle of the Dead' or 'Plead for Your Life' although that's just a 'friend suggests stuff you will like' thing not recommends for the channel I know you're buried under those like Scrooge McDuck in his money pit. Shadow are also fab in the 'Japanese mixed gender extreme metal' club, they don't seem to get much coverage, possibly out of sheer inactivity (last album was over 15 years ago), but the track 'Within the Winter Silence' especially is an utter banger. They're like blackened melodic death metal. On the 'heaviest band out of Japan' my current thoughts would be either Desecravity or Vomit Remnants. But I'm not deep into the J-metal scene because even with digital available it's still super expensive and hard to find unless you want to just listen to it on UA-cam rather than be able to take it on the road.
I've head of Serenity in Murder before, maybe even heard something but can't quite remember. The rest you say is all new. The Japanese scene is definitely a new thing for us that we found with the channel, and we've been kinda diggin it so far! I'll check out the stuff you recommended! I think Crystal Lake is also Japanses and that might actually be the actual heaviest stuff we heard from that side of the pond! / George
I'm going to give you the humble opinion of a 70-year-old Frenchman who has seen and heard a lot: there are currently 3 groups far above the others and they are The Warning, Nemophila and especially Lovebites. Everyone has their own tastes...
Nemophila and Mayu are a total blast on this one isn't it ? ^^ If you want something really dark and intense from Japan, try MergingMoon - Greyen , she's the best metal singer from out there ^^
So happy you came back to Nemophila!! Raite and Revive are also great songs!!
Happy Anniversary NEMOPHILA 🎊🎈🎉 This band is the one to watch, they are going for it and breaking big 🌸✨🌠
It's time too see the Lady's live ! Try, " Oiran " at Naon Yaon, 2021. ❤️🎙🎸🥁😎👌

I mean I met enough metalheads to know I can 100% believe you that they're a happy! But in the song, they're VERY angry! /Andrei
Next the song Revive!!!

YAAAY, I'm always down for a little fluffy hell! Hanabie should happen at some point as well. /Andrei
@@thewindmillfullovcorpses I also suggested that, and I second Allan's suggestion here.
I love the interview where Saki tries to explain fluffy Hell. She does it with a straight face, which makes it even more hilarious.
This is probably their best heavy song. Their song "HYPNOSIS" would surprise you!
Try MONSTERS, and also their covers of ONE NIGHT CARNIVAL and GOLDEN GRAFFTY.
nice reaction guys
Thank you! /Andrei

We have more Nemophila coming so be hyped! /Andrei
Funnily enough, I know Asim isn't in Wintersun anymore, but I got him to react to this song on a recent Twitch stream, and he loved it.
@@Metal_Auditor Asim is such a cool human, in or out of Wintersun! /Andrei
That just made my day. Thank you.
Very glad to know! Have good! /Andrei
Welcome to fluffy hell! Great reaction as always. So much greatness to come. Hypnosis is true headbanger... .Anxiously awaiting a Hanabie reaction.
We've got more Nemophila on the pipeline and Hanabie on the radar! / George
👏👏👏👏👏🤘💀🤘❤❤❤❤❤ muy buena reaccion 👊👏🤘
THANK!
《oiran》or《hypnosis》next please!🤘🏻🌸🤘🏻

They're very intense and somehow remind me of kittens. They're just so brutal and adorable!!!!
This song is probably their heaviest one!!!
Metalheads on stage: "I'M GONNA RIP YOUR F***ING GUTS OUT!!!"
Metalheads off stage... "kitties!"
/Andrei
@@thewindmillfullovcorpses EXACTLY MY POINT!!! And it makes me so happy

No, I was first, hehe! Noted Demon's Lantern! /Andrei
Definitely go with "Hypnosis" next. Great song, and definitely a bit different.

This band can do no wrong. Even better live...
Nemophila is always 🔥 Now you're ready to react to Hanabie - NEET GAME 🎮
on the list

I consider this their WTF song. For a totally different take on them, I suggest "Monsters". It is Mayu singing just different hair!!
Lol, thanks for the heads up / George
The only problem with this song is that it's too short.
AGREE!
Haraguchi-san Haraguchi-san Haraguchi-san!

Not into the shrieky vocals but I do like the music and the cleans.
Yeah they be quite good at that. Honestly don't mind the shrieky stuff either / George
